News This fair took place in

“Verde Valle high-

school” since

Tuesday 29th till

Thursday 31st.

There were many

interesting

presentations such as

“Sueños Lucidos”

by: Fernanda Díaz &

Diana Ramírez,

“Diseño de

Videojuegos” by:

Cecilia Torres &

Eduardo Torres,

“Cámaras

Fotográficas” by:

Verónica Vargas &

Allen Barragán, and

more.

The opening

presentation was

“Cerebro Humano”

by: Juan Carlos

Guízar & Fernanda

Lara at 8:30 am. I

was amazed by how

crowded the

exposition room was

the first hours, but

gradually the people

started to decrease; I

don’t think it

decrease ´cause of

the lack of interest, it

must have been the

lack of time or theirs

child already

presented.

“Sueños Lúcidos”

The lucid dreams are

basically formed in

the REM (Rapid Eye

Movement) phase

during sleeping.

Before the REM

phase there are from

1-4 phases NREM

(Non-REM) in which

the body regenerates

the energy lost during

the day. At the REM

phase, photo

memories are shown

and by a series of

them the “video-like”

dream appears.

How does a camera

work?

The camera has a

special way to

capture light and to

change it to an

image.

1.° The light enters

through the lens.

2.° The shutter

detects the light

and changes it

into 3 colors

(blue, green and

red).

3.° The sensor

detects these

colors and turns

them into

electromagnetic

pulses.

4.° The memory

card receives

these pulses and

saves them as

“bits”. All this

steps make up

the

digitalization.

5.° The way the bits

are changed into

a visible image

in a screen is

exactly the

inverse of the

digitalization.

Zoom: Choose a

camera with a

higher amount of

optical zoom than

digital zoom.

Lens: Choose

cameras with a

good quality of

lens such as:

o Canon

o Fujifilm

The resolution:

Always watch the

amount of pixels

the camera is able

to capture.

this fair was a

complete success;

all the students

confronted the

fear of talking in

front of people,

learned how to

express well, and

to experience how

to move on

stage”.
