Skåne, in the southernmost part of Sweden, has a long history of pharmaceutical development which has created a strong position for chemistry and formulation science perfectly suited for the cosmetics industry.

In vitro Plant-tech
SenzaGen SenzaGen offers the new generation animal free testing for prediction and classification of chemical sensitizers with very high accuracy. Our lead product, the GARD assay for assessment of chemical sensitizers, is a state-of-the-art method utilizing genomic biomarker signatures of +200 genes. The test is unique as it maps the entire immune reaction using genomic analysis and delivers data relevant for decision making in safety testing of ingredients for the cosmetic market with respect to skin and respiratory sensitization. The test is used primarily in pharmaceutical screening of new candidates, testing of cosmetic ingredients and chemical raw materials.
