SK CRIS
Centralised evidence of publication activity of Slovak universities
Currently covers 25 universities (all public, 2 states a 3 private)
Bibliographic database contains 165.933 entries from the period 2007 – 2010
Processing and verification of data, control of formal description of bibliographic records and correctness of their assignment to individual categories
Information on publication activity is used for presentation, comparison, and mapping of R&D and scientific activity of universities;
Data is used also as a basis for annual calculation of state subsidies to public universities
Central Registry of publication activity www. crepc.sk
Central Registry of publication activity www. crepc.sk
Creation initiated by the Ministry of Education with aim to ensure collection and archiving of theses, qualification works and dissertations from and create a corpus for Antiplagiarism system
The registry operation started in April 2010 and currently contains around 200.000 records from 33 universities
Theses and dissertations submitted after 1.9.2011 are according to novelisation of Act on Higher Education publicly accessible
Antiplagiarism system – all theses and dissertations are compared with other works in registry and with selected internet resources (originality check)
