Normally via the bile or urine, but also via the lungs volatile substances.

Removal of metabolic waste.

Conclusion

Our conclusion is that there are many different meanings for excretion, but they all mean the same.

EXCRETION: Is a process in which living things get rid of unwanted substances.

It is the process in

which plants get rid of the nutrients

they don't need

Plants expulse carbon dioxide and

that is their excretion

INTRODUCTIONIn this power point presentation we are going to talk about plant excretion. I HOPE YOU LIKE IT !!

GENERAL INFO• Plants has a large vacuoles that is use to storage waste substances and compounds.• Some plants actively secrete waste compounds into soil.• Oxygen can be looked upon as a waste product of photosynthesis and carbon dioxide as a waste product of respiration.

• Water is a waste product of both.•Some trees deposit strange chemicals in their branches and trunks.• Plants produce a variety organic and inorganic substances.• Leaves store heavy metals which toxic.

PROCESS

Plants produce a variety of organic and inorganic products during metabolism which are excreted in variety of ways.

Oxygen and carbon dioxide are produce as waste products during photosynthesis and respiration. These are excreted through of plants.Water is produce as a waste product during photosynthesis and respiration. It is excreted by transpiration.

TRANSPIRATIONProcess by which water that is absorbed that plants, usually through the roots.

CONCLUSIONPlants waste products are oxygen, carbon dioxide and water by transpiration.

The cell could open the cell membrane on the outside of the cell, letting the Garbage out without losing any cytoplasm or letting anything else in.

TYPE OF ANIMAL EXCRETORY SYSTEM

PROTOZOAS HAS SACS CALLED VACUOLES THAT TAKE IN AND GET RID OF WATER.

ROUNDWORMS HAS AN ANUS AND ITS REAR END AND A SERIES OF EXCRETORY TUBES THAT END IN AN EXCRETORY PORE.

INSECTS PASSES FOOD THROUGH ITS DIGESTIVE SYSTEM AND THE INSECTS FECES PASS OUT OF ITS ANUS FROM THE HINDGUT.

MOLLUSKS HAS AN EXCRETORY SYSTEM WITH AN ANUS. IT HAS AN ORGAN CALLED THE NEPHRIDIUM THAT GETS RID OF WASTES.

STARFISH HAS A SIMPLE EXCRETORY SYSTEM.

FISH GETS RID OF WASTES THROUGH ITS ANUS.

AMPHIBIANS HAS A THIN SKIN THAT IS MOIST. THEY GET RID OF WASTES TROUGH KIDNEYS AND INTESTINES.

REPTILES IT HAS KIDNEYS AND URETERS TO GET RID OF LIQUID WASTES.

BIRDS HAS KIDNEYS AND URETER TO EXCRETE LIQUID WASTES AND INTESTINES AND RECTUM TO EXCRETE SOLID WASTES.

MAMMALS HAS KIDNEYS AND IS COVERED WITH SKIN.

HUMANEXCRETION

Page 13: Science Activities

The excretory system is the body system that separates and gives off the waste from the body, usually as urine or sweat.

What is it?

Organ Function Illnesses Tips to take care

Kidneys These are the main organs in the system. It keeps the saltwater balanced in the body.

You may develop complications like high blood pressure, anemia (low blood count), weak bones, poor nutritional health and nerve damage.

1. Drink plenty of fluids.

2. Avoid caffeine.3. Cut back on bumpy

road rides.4. Eat cleansing foods.

UreterUrethraUrinary bladder

Ureter carries the urine away from the kidneys to the urinary bladder. The urethra is the tube that carries the urine from the bladder to outside the body.

Transitional cell cancer of the renal pelvis and urethra is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the renal pelvis and urethra.

1.Eat more vitamin C and E, zinc and beta-carotene.2. Stop smoking

Ensure a well-balanced diet in our food consumption: low in far, sugar, and salt, but high in fiber; and take lots of vegetables, fruits, beans, and whole-wheat cereals.

Skin The skin excretes extra salts, water, and heat, Usually as sweat.

1.Protect yourself from the sun.2. Don't smoke.

Lungs The lungs excrete the carbon dioxide from the body.

Lung cancerBronchopulmonary dysplasia Bronchitis Chronic BronchitisEmphysema Cystic fibrosisBronchiectasisAsthma

Never smokeIncrease your aerobic capacityBreathe in through your nose, especially around toxic fumesWatch what you inhale

HOW DOES H2O AFFECT HUMAN EXCRETION?

BY:Elena RubioMaria Camila Martinez

Page 18: Science Activities

Ingesting more water than you need can increase your total blood volume. And since your blood volume exists within a closed system - your blood circulatory system - needlessly increasing your blood volume on a regular basis puts unnecessary burden on your heart and blood vessels.Your kidneys must work overtime to filter excess water out of your blood circulatory system.

Your kidneys are not the equivalent of a pair of plumbing pipes whereby the more water you flush through your kidneys, the cleaner they become; rather, the filtration system that exists in your kidneys is composed in part by a series of specialized capillary beds called glomeruli. Your glomeruli can get damaged by unnecessary wear and tear over time, and drowning your system with large amounts of water is one of many potential causes of said damage.

Drinking to much water affects human excretion
