“always at the top”: The slopes and curves of Schladming-Rohrmoos for pure skiing enjoyment! Carving and boarding in a world-class ski resort. 100 % snow, 100 % fun! And best of all: Starting from the hotel, you have direct access to perfectly prepared slopes: Planai and Hochwurzen are the central ski resorts of the 4-mountains lift network, which forms the heart of “Ski Amadé”.

Approximately 360 slopes make this region Austria’s greatest for skiing fun, and always the home base of skiing and snowboarding stars like Hans and Bernhard Knauss, Michael Tritscher, and Manuel Veith. And waiting times? Do not apply! Thanks to 270 lifts, waits are a thing of the past.

Alpine Skiing World Championships in SchladmingFrom 4th to 17th Februrary 2013, for the second time since 1982, the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships will take place in Schladming, Styria, the heart of Austria.

“A skiing championship like no other that has ever been“ is how Austrian Ski Association president Prof. Peter Schröcksnadel defines the vision for the organisational committee and therefore sets the target quite high. Schladming, a traditional winter sports locality and venue for great sports successes for the past decades, is not only an ideal geographical location for the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships. The enthusiasm and positive emotions that the people in and around Schladming express about the sport is one-of-a-kind. Over 50,000 excited fans show this each year during the Night Race, the ski world cup night slalom.

A total of 244 hectares of ski slope surface are available at the 4-mountain ski region in Schladming. This is equivalent to the surface of about 400 football fields.

85 % of ski slopes are open for guests on holiday during and about 2–3 weeks before the championships, in spite of preparations for the great “Ski celebration with heart.”

2013 Musician Ski World Championships The 23rd Puntigamer Musicians Ski World Championships will take place from 3rd to 7th April 2013 at the venue of the 2013 Ski World Championships. Traditionally, numerous musicians’ groups from several countries will participate in the championships and provide a lively and amusing atmosphere for the public.

As during the past two decades, the entertaining program will offer folk music events, morning sessions, as well as exciting competitions ensuring no end of fun and much more for lively entertainment.

Excitement is already guaranteed, as the Musician Ski World Championships will be held at the same place as the Alpine Ski World Championships in February 2013. The popular festival successfully combines sport and entertainment. Because thousands of fans will once again ask for their “Stars to Touch.”

The Puntigamer Musician Ski World Championships are an event which folk music fans should not miss.

Terms and conditionsTo make your booking we request a deposit of € 300.– per room (€ 600.– for family apartments) made via bank transfer within two weeks to our account at the Hypo Bank Schladming. (IBAN: AT43 5600 0206 5301 2900, BIC: HYSTAT2G) Place of jurisdiction is Schladming/Austria. Unless agreed upon otherwise, the Austrian hotel contract terms apply.

PaymentIn general, we recommend payment using a MAESTRO card (A, D, NL) or in cash! The following credit cards are accepted: Visa and MasterCard.

cancellationsIf you cancel your stay up to 8 weeks before your arrival, we will return your payment less a processing fee of € 40.– per booking. If cancelled within less than 8 weeks, we will retain the deposit. If your stay is cancelled during the last 4 weeks before your arrival, we will be obliged to charge you for the entire stay reduced by € 18.– per person and day for board. This also applies for late arrivals or early departures.

Travel cancellation insuranceAnd if something should come up in the meantime? Along with your booking confirmation, you will receive information from our partner, the Europäische Reiseversicherung.
