DIVISION TRAINING·WORKSHOP ON WORLD AND CONTEMPORARY MUSIC FOR GRADES 9 & 10JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL MAPEH TEACHERS

1. To empower MAPEH Teachers' capacity with a more concrete and deeper understanding onpedagogical skills in teaching Music and Arts, the Department of Education Schools Division Office ofBulacan shall conduct Division Training-Workshop for Junior High School Non-Music & Art MajorTeachers Teaching MAPEH on the following scheduled dates and venues contained in Enclosure No.1 of this Memorandum:
2. The training-workshop aims to:a. provide the essential and necessary understanding, knowledge and skills in World Contemporary
music and arts;b. be able to transfer /respond and interpret concept and ideas through active involvement and
participation; andc. be able to read, compose and perform simple musical arrangement for classroom teaching.
3. The participants to this training-workshop are all Grades 9 & 10 Teachers teaching MAPEH.
4. The participants are required to bring their own Melodeon Instrument (musical keyboard) to beprovided by their respective schools.
5. EDDIS Chairs and Concerned Secondary School Principals shall take charge in the preparation ofvenues and accommodation during the conduct of this training.
6. List of participating schools, scheduled dates, assigned venues, trainers, facilitators and trainingmatrix are contained in Enclosure No. 1 of this Memorandum.
7. Expenses to be incurred in this activity such as meals, training materials for trainers/facilitators,hauling of musical instruments and other incidental expenses shall be charged against Division INSETFund. Transportation expense, purchase of musical instrument of participants shall be chargedagainst School MOOE/Local funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
