• Schoology is an application that teachers use to send messages, share

documents and calendars, and post grades

• Parents and students use Schoology to check grades and see class

documents

What is Schoology?

• First year using Schoology was this year

• Switched from Campus Portal to Schoology because it was one

coherent interface for all students and teachers

• Still use Campus for tools that Schoology doesn’t have

• Viewing schedule, locker number and combo, lunch pin, unofficial transcript,

and attendance

Why we switched to Schoology

• Everything is in the same place, remains constant throughout the schools

• Parents can see everything

• Possibility of future flex days or future online courses

• Grades posted with feedback or grading scale

• Group courses for extracurricular

• Use of internet or app

Advantages

• People do not know how to use it (students, teachers, and parents)-Learning Curve

• Not all teachers take advantage of the platform
