Harrison’s Medical Billing and Coding program provides cross training in both medical

coding and billing skills, which means you have options. As a student of the Medical

Billing and Coding program, you will be taught how to:

• Perform medical coding procedures and complete health care claim forms

• Perform patient accounts and billing procedures

• Enter and protect health information data into electronic health records

• Execute telephone and electronic communications within legal and ethical boundaries

• Schedule patient appointments
