University and School Profile• University of Bridgeport founded in 1927 as the Junior College of Connecticut• Became the University of Bridgeport in 1947• Private, Independent, Non-sectarian and International• UB Total Students : 3300• SED Largest School on Campus (840 students as of Spring 2001)
