Message from the Principal
Hi Everyone
Welcome back to Term2! I hope that all our families have had the oppor-tunity to spend quality time together, taking time out to relax and have fun. We certainly were for-tunate with the weather over the break, particu-larly for those camping over the Easter public hol-idays. House Cross Country Our House Cross Country takes place the second Friday back on the 3rd of May for Grade 3-6 stu-dents, notices went home last term so please be sure to have them returned by end of this week so your child/ren can walk the track in preparation for the day and also compete at the event. ANZAC day Our school choir will be performing at the Mont-rose ANZAC day commemorative service at 11am this coming Thursday near the Montrose Memorial on Mt Dandenong Rd. Thank you to Mrs Tesselaar, Mrs Vakulcyzk and the choir students for their work in preparing for this important occasion. We will also have several students speaking at the commemorative service. Grade 5 Camp Information Session On Wednesday May 1st at 5pm a camp information session will be held in the Grade 5 double porta-ble (Mr Mulhall’s room) for families to find out more information about the camp program. No Assembly this Friday Due to the short week we will not be holding an assembly this first Friday back.
