Additional learning
Students at university in Cambodia only attend classes in the morning or the afternoon.
PEPY scholarship students will be required to take additional study courses to support their learning. These will consist of English classes, ICT classes, and soft-skill development. Students will also be required to attend events relating to information about employment and future opportunities.
More information on these classes and events can be found in PEPY’s Learning Center Proposal.
Giving back
PEPY scholarships are designed to have an impact not just on the students who receive them, but also on their wider community. Scholarship are awarded to candidates based not only on their commitment to education, but also on their passion for change and their history of social action.
Giving back
• Presentations to Junior High School students in the home community 2 times per year.
• Attendance at PEPY careers events at Kralanh District High School
• Support PEPY on education-based research projects where necessary
• Produce a short newsletter about their lives at university and distribute in their community.
