Intheeventthattherecipientwithdrawsfromtheprogramme,issuspendedorterminatedbytheSunwayUniversity/SunwayCollege(KL)atanypointintime,beforethecompletionoftheprogramme,thescholarshipshallbeautomaticallyterminated.However,shouldtherecipientwithdrawfromtheprogrammeduetothemedicalreasons,his/herscholarshipmayberetained,subjecttotheabsolutediscretionofSunwayUniversity/SunwayCollege(KL),andonlyaftertherecipienthasprovidedadequatesupportingmedicaldocumentsacceptabletoSunwayUniversity/SunwayCollege(KL).
10. Shouldsuchawithdrawal,terminationorsuspensionoccurs,SunwayUniversity/SunwayCollege(KL)reservestherighttoclaimfortherecoveryoffeesdue,whicharecalculatedonaproratabasis.Thisisbasedonthevaluable benefit received by the recipient.

14.SunwayUniversity/SunwayCollege(KL)reservestherighttoalter,addor delete any of the terms and conditions and scholarship scheme at any pointintimeasandwhenSunwayUniversity/SunwayCollege(KL)deemsnecessary.

For Jeffrey cheah Entrance Scholarship and continuing ScholarshipA. For Pre-University/Sunway Foundations/Professional Accounting
Programmes:1. The scholarship is offered strictly to full time registered students of Sunway
College(KL)uponsettlementofthefirstsemesterfees.Itismandatorythat the recipient completes the entire duration of the course.
2. Special Scholarship recipients may apply to convert the scholarship to a higher quantum on the Jeffrey Cheah Entrance Scholarship. Scholarship fundswhicharealreadyutilizedintheSpecialScholarshipwillbeconsidered as part of the Jeffrey Cheah Entrance Scholarship. Therefore recipients will only be eligible to receive the remaining surplus of funds availableonthehigherscholarship.Balanceoffeesistobepaidbytherecipients.
3. Disbursementofscholarship: - 1 year programme. The disbursement of scholarship will be
implemented in the 2nd semester of the programme. - 1.5 year programme. The disbursement of scholarship will be distributed
inequalamountbetween2ndsemesterand3rdsemesterofthe programme.
Forfullscholars,anyreimbursementapplicablewillbemadeuponsuccessful completion of the programme.
4. Fullscholarsneednotmakefurthersemestertuitionfeepaymentsuponsecuring the scholarship. Any excess amount paid in the first semester will be reimbursed upon successful completion of the programme.
5. Tuition fee deduction for full scholars applies as the following: - -AustralianMatriculation(5subjectstuitionfee) -A-Level(3subjectstuitionfee)

B. For Diploma Programmes:1. The scholarship is offered strictly to full time registered students of Sunway
University/SunwayCollege(KL)uponsettlementofthefirstsemesterfees.Itismandatory that the recipient completes the entire duration of the course.
2. The scholarship will be implemented in the 2nd semester of the programme.3. Fullscholarsneednottomakefurthersemestertuitionfeepaymentsuntilthe
full utilisation of the total 1st year tuition fee.4. Fullscholarsuponutilisingthetotalof1styeartuitionfee,willcontinuefee
payments for the remaining semesters.
C. For American Degree Transfer Program:1. The scholarship is offered strictly to full time registered students of Sunway
Universityuponsettlementofthefirstsemesterfees.Itismandatorythattherecipient completes the entire duration of the course.
2. The scholarship will be implemented from the 2nd semester of the programme until the full utilisation of the scholarship amount granted. Scholars upon utilising of the total amount granted shall continue to make payments on the remaining billable amounts.
3. Fullscholarsneednottomakefurthersemestertuitionfeepaymentsuntilthefullutilisationofthetotal30credithourstuitionfee.Scholarsuponutilisingthetotalofthe30credithourstuitionfeewillcontinuetuitionfeepaymentsfor the remaining semesters.
D. For Degree Programmes:1. The disbursement of scholarship will be distributed in equal amount between
thefirsttwosemestersoftheprogramme.Balanceofthescholarshipwillbedeductedfromthe3rdsemester’stuitionfeespayablefortheyear.(ApplicabletotheDegreeprogrammeswith3semestersinacademicyear).
2. ForUECscholars: - Results for all subjects must be grade C and above. - Pointsarecalculatedbasedonbest5subjectsofatleastgradeB.3. ForA-LevelScholars: - Resultsforthebest3subjectsmustbeGradeCandabove.4. Torenew,scholarsarerequiredtore-applyforthecontinuationofthe
scholarshipthroughStudentLIFEonayearlybasis.5. Scholars must maintain the following minimum grades as part of the criteria to
continue the scholarship: a. ScholarsonRM6,000scholarshipmustmeetaminimumof60%grade
average yearly. b. ScholarsonRM11,000scholarshipmustmeetaminimumof65%grade
average yearly.6. There shall be no upgrading of scholarships.7. ArecipientwhoappliesfortheProgrammeTransfermayretainhis/her

E. For Continuing Scholarship:1. Students receiving this scholarship are not eligible for the 10% PALS Loyalty

(KL)students(Malaysian&international)whohavecompletedeitheraPre-University,DiplomaorFoundationprogrammewithSunwayUniversity/SunwayCollege(KL),SunwayCollege(JB),SunwayCollege(Ipoh)orSunwayCollege(Kuching).
3. ForADTPscholars: - The scholarship will only be offered from Semester 4 onwards upon
completionofthefirsttwoyearsinSunwayADTPprogramme.4. The disbursement of scholarship will be distributed in equal amount between
thefirsttwosemestersoftheprogramme.Balanceofthescholarshipwillbedeductedfromthe3rdsemester’stuitionfeespayablefortheyear.(ApplicabletotheDegreeprogrammeswith3semestersinacademicyear).
5. Torenew,scholarsarerequiredtore-applyforthecontinuationofthescholarshipthroughStudentLIFEonayearlybasis.

A. The Jeffrey Cheah Entrance & Continuing Scholarships are offered to applicants with outstanding academic results without any interview.

For Sunway Sports Scholarship1. OnlyMalaysianCitizensareeligibletoapply.2. The disbursement of Scholarship will be implemented in the second
semester of the programme. Any excess amount paid in the first semester will be reimbursed upon sucessful completion of the programme.
3. ScholarsMUSTrepresenttheInstitutioninMASISWA,SUKIPTandIPTgamesoranyothertournamentsasandwhenrequiredbytheInstitutionManagement.
4. Sports Scholarship athletes must maintain good grades.5. Athletes are required to contribute at least 80 hours per year on
conductingsportstrainingworkshop,clinicalworketc(excludetraining/competitionhours).
6. The Sports Scholarship is reviewed on a yearly basis. Scholarships can be revokedbasedonthediscretionoftheInstitution.
7. Thefinaldecisiontograntthescholarshipisatthesolediscretionoftheselection panel.
8. Ifanapplicant’schosensportisnotpartoftheListofSportsfortheSunwaySportsScholarship,itwillthenfallunderthediscretionofSunwayUniversity/SunwayCollege(KL)scholarshipcommitteetoaccepttheapplicationand/ortograntaninterview.
For School of arts music Scholarship1. Recipientmustperformatleast3scheduledperformancesperyearwith
music groups in the School of Arts.2. The disbursement of Scholarship will be implemented in the second
semester of the programme. Any excess amount paid in the first semester will be reimbursed upon sucessful completion of the programme.
3. Thecontinuityisreviewedonyearlybasissubjecttomeetingthetermsset by institution.
- Recipient must maintain an overall average of 60% in academic grades -Recipientmustdemonstrateleadershipintheassignedensemble(s)
4. Torenew,recipientsarerequiredtoreapplyforthecontinuationofthescholarshipthroughStudentLIFEonayearlybasis.
For Sunway-icaEw global accountant Scholarship Scheme1. OnlyMalaysiancitizensareeligibletoapply.2. OfferofscholarshipwillbemadeonlywhenSunwayCollege(KL)
receives the actual results.3. ItismandatoryfortherecipienttoregisterwithSunway
College(KL)forall3AdvancedLevelModules,failingwhich,theScholarship shall be automatically terminated. Should such a termination,SunwayCollege(KL)reservestherighttoclaimfortherecoveryoftuitionfeesdue,whicharecalculatedonaprorata basis. This is based on the valuable benefit received by the recipient.
4. The terms and manner in which the scholarship is disbursed will bedecidedbySunwayCollege(KL).AlldecisionsmadebytheSunway College Scholarship Committee are final.
For community Bursary1. This bursary is applicable for new registered students to Sunway
University/SunwayCollege(KL)only.(Studentswillhavetomeettheentryrequirementsoftheprogrammeenrolled.)
2. The bursary is offered from the commencement of the programme and will be granted in the form of a partial tuition fee waiver.
3. ApplicationsarebasedonresultsobtainedinSPM,O-Level&UECexaminationstakeninyear2017.
4. Students applying based on forecast results will be granted the bursary on a conditional offer that the actual result must meet theminimumentryrequirements.Failingtodosowillresultinthebursary being revoked.
5. ForstudentswhoareeligibleforseveralformsofdiscountbySunwayEducationGrouporSunwayGroup(e.g.StaffDiscount,SiblingDiscount,others),thebursaryawardedwillbeapplicableon the net balance of the tuition fee payable after the deduction of the relevant discount.
6. The quantum of awards to successful applicants is at the sole discretionofSunwayUniversity/SunwayCollege(KL).
7. Thisbursaryisneithertransferablenorexchangeableforcashorother alternatives.
8. This bursary will be terminated upon completion of the normal prescribedstudyperiodspecifiedbySunwayUniversity/SunwayCollege(KL).Thebursaryisnotapplicabletotuitionfeeoccurreddue to repeat subject.
9. SunwayUniversity/SunwayCollege(KL)reservestherighttoreview this bursary awarded on a yearly basis. The bursary may be withdrawn at anytime should the student fail to meet the required academic grades or due to misconduct.
10.Intheeventthatthebursaryrecipientwithdrawsfromtheprogramme,issuspendedorterminatedbySunwayUniversity/SunwayCollege(KL)atanypointintime,beforethecompletionoftheprogramme,thebursaryshallautomaticallybeterminated.
11. The final decision to grant the bursary is at the sole discretion of SunwayUniversity/SunwayCollege(KL).
12. All applications must be received by the stipulated deadlines. Late applicants will not be considered.
For Sibling discount1. ApplicantsmustberegisteredasSunwayUniversity/Sunway
College(KL)students.2. Notapplicabletogovernmentsponsored,corporatesponsoredor
Language programmes students.3. OfferofdiscountwillonlybemadewhentheInstitutionreceives
the following documented proof: a. CertifiedphotocopiesofBirthCertificatesforbothsiblings; b. CertifiedphotocopiesofCompletionCertificate,Academic
TranscriptsorCurrentStudentIDCardfromSunwayUniversity/ SunwayCollege(KL)ofasibling.
4. Thediscountisintheformofdeductionfromtuitionfee.Itshallnotbedeductedfromanygeneral,registration,applicationorexam fees.
5. Thisdiscountisprovidedasa“OneTimeOffDeduction”fornewregistrantsonly.Itwillnotbevalidforreturning,repeatingorcontinuing students.
6. The final decision to grant the discount is at the sole discretion of theAdmissionsOfficeofSunwayUniversity.
7. ThisdiscountisvalidforallMalaysiansandInternationalstudents.
