A scholarship for successOur Scholarship Program is open to everyone and there is no need to be enrolled with us before applying. Refer to our website regularly, as new scholarships may be added throughout the year. Available for the first year of study and, in some cases, for subsequent years, our scholarships provide students with financial assistance towards tuition and residential fees. This also significantly reduces the FEE-HELP obligation following graduation. With reputable industry contacts, we can also assist in building connections and help find unique opportunities without binding you to working for a sponsoring organisation.

How to applyApplications must include a current Curriculum Vitae (CV) / resume, with address, phone numbers, email, gender, date of birth, full education history, full employment history and contact details of at least two referees.

If applying for a First Year scholarship include official Year 12 or equivalent results and university enter score. Applications for Equine Management scholarships must include two named, colour photographs of applicant riding/handling horses.

A named, typed and titled essay of 500 words maximum on the specific scholarship question. A named, typed and titled essay of 100 words maximum on the generic College question: “What are your career goals and aspirations?”

An applicant may apply for more than one scholarship but will only receive one scholarship is any one academic year. If applying for multiple scholarships, you need only supply one copy of your CV and one copy of your College essay.

Applications must be received at Marcus Oldham College no later than 5.00pm Victorian time on the Scholarship closing date. Submission details are on this brochure. Applicants will be notified when application is received.

Applicants short listed for an interview will be advised approximately 20 days prior to the specified interview date. Interviews will be conducted at the College.

With the exception of international applicants, the College does not conduct scholarship telephone or skype interviews.

The value of the scholarship will be deducted from the fees in the appropriate academic years(s) unless otherwise agreed to by the College.

A scholarship may not be awarded if no applicants meet the selection criteria. The College reserves the right to extend the closing and interview dates.
