You can count on this newsletter to give you updates on Cigna Scholars events, relevant threads on the Cigna Scholars website, and opportunities for all of you to learn and grow our community. Upcoming Events We have some exciting events coming up to help you in all aspects of your Cigna Scholars life. Please contact Brian Preston via email at [email protected] if you are interested in participating in any of the below listed events: Education Reimbursement Programs Demo, Monday 11/25 11am EST – Ever wonder how the ERP process works? Linda Carpenter, head of Cigna's ERP program, will join this meeting as a guide and expert as Brian Preston goes through the entire ERP process. You will get to see the process first hand and ask Linda and other current ERP participants questions. Masters in Business Administration Group, Monday 12/2 11am EST – This monthly group is designed for current MBA students, prospective MBA students and MBA alumni to share thoughts and ideas about graduate programs and how to be more successful in school life and work. Each meeting will have set discussion topics to help guide the conversation. Feel free to come once or to make it a regular thing. Also, be sure to pass the invite along to other Cigna employees who are not current CS members. Student Parent Group, Tuesday 12/3 11am EST - This is a monthly group designed for current students of all types who also have children, as well as parents who are considering going back to school. Set discussion topics will include deciding if a traditional or distance program is best for you, how to get your kids involved in your education and time management. Feel free to come once or to make it a regular thing. Also feel free to invite Cigna employees who are not current CS members who may benefit from the discussion. Undergraduate Group Wednesday 12/4 11am EST - This group meets monthly and is designed for current undergraduate students of all types. It also includes Cigna employees considering going back to school for their undergraduate degree. Each meeting will have set discussion topics. Feel free to come once or make it a regular thing. Also feel free to invite Cigna employees who are not current CS members who may benefit from the discussion. Graduate Group, Thursday 12/5 11am EST - This monthly group is designed for all graduate students and Cigna employees considering going back to school for a graduate degree, as well as recent masters or doctoral alumni. Each meeting will have set discussion topics. Feel free to come once or make it a regular thing. Also feel free to invite Cigna employees who are not current CS mem- bers who may benefit from the discussion.

• Group Moderators– We are looking for a leader for each of our four monthly discussion groups. The leader will be responsible for scheduling the call and generating the discussion topics ahead of time with input from the Cigna Scholars Board. Please let Brian Preston know if you are interested.
