CALLING ALL MENTORS!CAPITAL DISTRICT - I am I can is a 501(c)3 organization that was created to mentor girls in grades 9 - 12. Programs provide needed encouragement, guidance and advocacy to students as they navigate their high school years and move toward post-graduation goals. As a mentor you would spend time with and get to know your student, while developing a relationship that provides sup-port and guidance. You will help the student to develop core values and “encourage young women to discover their dreams, to believe in endless pos-sibilities while empowering them to make it happen”. The organization is currently looking for mentors in the Clifton Park to Glens Falls areas. Immediate needs are to support girls in Hudson Falls, South Glens Fall, Glens Falls, Shenen-dehowa, and Ballston Spa school districts.
