INTRODUCTION

The generation and management of Scheduled waste is a legal issue in our country as it can affect the health and environment. Scheduled waste handlers (generation, transporting and storage) are the most prone group of personnels towards hazardous materials being transferred into their body (affecting health) and have always been a target of being interviewed by Government officers, Quality/Environment/Health auditors and customers due to their work task. EQA-Scheduled Waste Regulations 2005- they are clauses which stipulate that the scheduled waste handlers must be properly trained. In addition, since the introduction of e-reporting of scheduled waste transfer consignment notes, the related-personnels must be aware & trained on the reporting method.
