SDS in the A-T-L!! At the end of June the whole team, along with Dr. Patel’s daughter Niva got to
go to Atlanta to get some training in with our amazing consultant who is
responsible for all of these great new things in our office! Here are a few pictures

From the desk of Dr. Jig
Happy 4th of July! By the time you receive this newsletter you will have celebrated our nation’s
independence day. I hope each and every one of you had time to appreciate
your lives and this great country! I have had the chance to travel to other
countries over the years. When you return home, despite how great of a time
you might have had on your trip, there is nothing like living in this country in
my opinion.
Things to see, people to meet, work to get done. We have been working
diligently here at the office with sole purpose of serving as many people as
we can in our community. This leads to my discussion of our recent trip to
Atlanta. Atlanta has become my home away from home. It is where I go to
learn, relax, and increase my engagement in life. In June, I took the whole
team to visit Atlanta. We spent three days of intensive training and team
building. The goal? To improve our lives, both professionally and
personally. In turn, this allows for SDS to provide the best care available for
our community. In Atlanta, our team decided to step up our own level of
engagement. So what does that mean? Serve others!!
This fall our office will be partnering with DentistryFromTheHeart.org. We
will have more details in the near future with times and dates for the event.
The event essentially is to provide free dental care for those that do not have
access to dental care.
The first weekend in June I attended my annual Steelers Men’s Fantasy
Camp. Hands down, one of the greatest times of my life. I always attend
with my fellow Steeler brother, friend, and colleague – Dr. Amarik Singh. It
is a great time for us to relax, bond, and just be around a bunch of nerds who
live & breathe the Black & Yellow Nation of the Pittsburgh Steelers. GO
STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!
Back to business, on July 24th, we will be hosting an Implant Open House in
conjunction with Dr. Amarik Singh from Periodontal Implant Associates.
Dr. Singh and I have been working together placing and restoring implants
for over the past ten years. It is a great opportunity for people to come and
discover the benefits of implants and how it can seriously change your life.
Implants are great at replacing missing teeth, securing dentures into a locked
position, and restoring your overall appearance. You only have one life,
make sure you can smile and eat with confidence. The details of the event
are located in the newsletter and we will be sending reminders via e-mail
also. Call now as space is limited to the first 17 people to respond.
Congratulations to Vimal M. on winning our new patient raffle contest for
the month of May. She took home a brand new grill. Hope you have a fun
grilling this summer! Congratulations to Laura W. who won the iPad for the
month of June. I am sure she will find some use for an iPad, if not; you can
give it back to me!

Alex graduated this year from Hoffman Estates
High School. He has been playing the violin since
he was 10 years old following in the footsteps of
his grandfather. He was selected to participate in
the Illinois Ambassadors of Music Program. They
will perform in a musical tour in 7 European
countries. If you would like to help contribute to
help him with this great honor, you can contact him
