Scarpa’s new Freedom Freeride boot pairs alpine ski boot performance with a catego-ry-leading 27 degrees of cuff range in tou-ring mode (thanks to Ride Power Block). Exceptionally light among Freeride boots at 2000 gr. per boot (size 27), the new Freedom is constructed with Primary HP, a proprietary high-performance new Scarpa PU compound. The boot employs Scarpa’s patented Carbon Core Technology, which over-molds the lower boot around a carbon fiber frame, yielding a 110 flex index boot.
Swappable soles that are bolted to the shell through the Core Connect Technology, offering compatibility with any ski binding, from alpine to tech bindings, in a design that improves strength and power transfer to the ski. The boot comes with the Vibram Mountain Piste Sole, a DIN compatible for use in alpine bindings, and the Vibram Mountain Plus sole, a lugged sole that offers compatibility with any alpine-touring binding and Quick Step-In system, is availa-ble as an accessory.
Inside, the Scarpa Ride liner is designed to balance power for downhill skiing with flex for walking and touring. Men’s and women’s specific fit versions are available, with shell sizing from 21,5 -27 womens – 27-31 mens.
Il nuovo Freedom accoppia le performan-ce di uno scarpone alpino con la legge-rezza e la libertà di movimento offerta da uno scarpone da touring. Pesa 2.000 gr ed è realizzato in un nuovo composto PU creato da Scarpa: Primary HP. Lo scarpone dispone della tecnologia brevettata a sovra-iniezione Carbon Core, in grado di garantire flex 110, mentre il meccanismo Ride Power Block, per il passaggio di modalità sci-camminata, offre un range di movimento di ben 27 gradi.
Le suole intercambiabili tramite la tecnologia Core Connect garantiscono una compatibilità totale con ogni tipo di attacco sci, dall’alpine al touring, con un design che assicura forza e potenza di trasmissione allo sci. In soli 1.800 gr sono compresi la tecnologia a sovra-iniezione Scarpa Car-bon Core, che offre flex 120 e prestazioni da modello da discesa, e un ampio range di movimento, ben 27 gradi (20 avanti e 7 indietro). Questo grazie all’innovativo meccanismo di passaggio della modalità Ride Power Block.
