Conserving water is particularly important for Australia, and manufacturers of appliances that use less water

can make a meaningful contribution. Our role is to ensure that all of our products are environmentally responsible

and achieve the highest levels of proficiency; but use low levels of water, energy and detergents. In 1999 our env-

ironmental work had advanced so far that we received environmental certification in accordance with ISO 14001.

All components in our appliances that weigh more than 50 grams are labelled for recycling.

ASKO cares for the environment.

It all began in 1950, when the Swedish farmer Karl Erik Andersson received his first order for a washing machine

from his mother. He managed to produce a revolutionary model, and the word spread. Eventually Karl Erik built

a small factory on the farm and started making washing machines full time. A few years later he also started to

produce dishwashers and tumble dryers. Today ASKO has about 1,000 employees at production plants in Sweden

and Finland, and we have customers all over the world, who place high demands on design, function and care for

the environment.

Most people want to make a contribution to spare our environment, but many of us don’t know how. Taking

shorter showers, recycling waste water, walking instead of driving – lots of little things add up. They all help, but it’s

still not enough. We need to be much kinder to our environment and adopt smarter methods.

Having water, energy and detergent consumption in mind when choosing appliances is a good way to start.

That’s why we are proud to say that commitment to the environment has traditionally been an important part

of ASKO’s ethos, perhaps because the factories have always had nature on their doorstep. Our dishwashers, for

example, have a very low energy and detergent consumption, and with a water consumption of 13,6 litres on

Think that laundry care has to be boring? Think again.In recent years, kitchens and bathrooms have been very much in focus. But now our attention is

turning to the laundry. A place where we spend a lot of time, but often a place that lacks func-

tionality – and pleasure. This is something we want to change, which is why we’ve developed a

total solution for the laundry. After all, we do spend quite a bit of time doing the laundry.

ASKO Laundry Care concept is a new range of washing machines and tumble dryers that

combine to form a functional, and decidedly good-looking, solution. With their Scandinavian

simplicity in colour and design, they go nicely in any modern laundry. A well thought-out

laundry gives you time for other things in life which, let’s face it, are more fun than doing the

laundry.

The interior is the exact opposite of the clean, simple design of the exterior. It contains all the advanced solutions that make washing so much easier. We never compromise when it comes to our choice of materials and details. For example, we use stainless steel wherever possible. SmartSeal™

Thanks to SmartSeal™, it’s easy to recognise an ASKO washing machine. ASKO is the only produ-cer to make its washing machines without rubber bellows. The SmartSeal™ construction means the door seals directly to the drum, and does not get in the way. The first thing to wear out on an ordinary washing machine is the rubber bellows, which can be the cause of many flooded floors and extra service costs. That’s why ASKO build washing machines for both domestic and professional use: without rubber bellows!

Optimal mechanical action. The efficiency of the mecha-nical process depends on the drum size in order to produce a good wash result. ASKO washing machines achieve this

thanks to their large drum, unique high-lift ribs with shower feature, and perfect speed control.

Our washing machines have a second life. You can return your ASKO washing machine to the recycler at the end of its useful life with a clear con-science. Each detail over 50

grams, whether made of steel, plastic or rubber, is marked for recycling and could reappear in another guise.

Perfect result withminimum consumption. Sensor technology is good for the wash result as well. The sensors take measurements and report back. Fuzzy logic

makes the machine intelligent enough to process information from the sensors and controls the process. SensiSave™ gauges the size of the wash so the machine only uses as much water, energy and time as necessary – without compromising with the result!

Pre-soak is suitable for heavily soiled clothes and dissolves stains in under two hours and then starts the wash program.(W6762/W6451)

Quattro™ is ASKO’s own extremely durable standing con-struction. Unlike most washing machines that are suspended inside the outer casing.The

outer drum rests on four supporting spring legs firmly attached to a steel bottom plate. The entire construction stands inside the outer metal casing, so the vibrations stay inside the machine and spinning at even 1600 rpm can be done with minimum vibration.

Quick wash is quick er than you could ever be. Or can you do a 6 kg wash and wring out over half the water in half an hour?

Spin speed is only partly responsible for the residual moisture content in your gar-ments. Yes ASKO can spin up to 1600rpm, but to remove

as much moisture as possible one needs to spin for the optimum time which in an ASKO is approximately 11 minutes. Both the length of spin and the speed will pro-vide you with an optimum result.

Stain removal. By using the E2 option when washing heavily soiled clothes, you lengthen the program with 22 minutes to achieve the maxi-mum effect. (W6762/W6451)

The temperature sensor ensures that the water main-tains the right temperature (with a divergence of plus/minus 1ºC). This reduces electricity consumption and means that delicate items are

not damaged by too dramatic temperature fluctuations.

Time delayed start is perfect if you want to make the most of cheaper night time rates or want your laundry to be clean just as you get home from work. (W6762/W6451/W6342)

Unwanted creases. To pre-vent the laundry from settling into unwanted creases, the drum rotates once every minute during 2 hours. The anti-crease function is acti-

vated after the completion of the washing program. (W6762)

Up to 7 rinses! As a preven-titive measure for people with very sensitive skin ASKO’s washing machines features an extra rinse function called

Super-Rinse. The machine rinses up to 7 times. All of the detergent has to be rinsed off before the clothes can be called clean.

4,5 Star Energy. All our washers are labelled 4,5 stars for energy consumption. This means that our appliances are among the most energy efficient in the market.

Water rating. ASKO has achieved a 4 star rating under the new system call WELS on all our washing machines.

6 kg wash load. All ASKO’s washing machines can take a 6 kg load.

A high water level improves the rinse results and treats the whole wash more gently. The machine takes in 2 extra litres of water for the main wash and every rinse. (W6762/W6342)

AquaBlockSystem™. Water damage is something nobody wants. Even the slightest leak that goes undetected can cause major problems.

To assure you that the machine will not leak, we’ve developed the AquaBlockSystem™, an advanced water safety system that detects if the water level in the machine rises above a normal level.

The system comprises up to 7 different points, all of which help ensure a leak-safe washing machine for many years of problem-free operation.

Balance Control. ASKO’s balance control checks that the laundry is evenly distri-buted in the drum. An even distribution not only lowers noise while spinning. It also

reduces the mechanical burden on the machine which in turn extends its life span. Balance control gauges and calculates the balance of the laundry, to decide whether the machine should spin or redistribute the load. If it is not properly balanced, the machine attempts to redistribute the laundry up to 10 times on the selected spin speed. If it still won’t spin, it will try up to five times more on a lower spin speed. In the event of extreme imbalance the machine will not spin at all so as not to overload it.

Child Safety. ASKO’s KidSafe™ system protects the wash with the following solutions: - block on the temperature knob- optional block of the start

- and/or menu buttons- 3 sec delay of the stop-button

Drop-down door. It helps you when loading and unloa-ding the machine, it stops the odd sock from falling to the floor and offers an available surface to sort garments. In

addition, when closed, it lowers the noise level of the washing machine. Makes you wonder why not every washing machine has one! (W6762)

EasyControl™ is a unique interface that allows you the flexibilty of storing your favou-rite programs. Simply touch a button and press start and the machine will do the rest. Or

access the menu to customise the program and find out all of its hidden features.(W6762)

Environmental certification. ASKO has environmental certif ication in accordance with ISO 14001. This is an environmental accreditation,

which ASKO adheres to during the manu-facturing process.

Variable temperature sett-ings. The temperature can be set from cold to 95°C (cold = inlet water temp), and on certain models with 5°C steps from 30°C to 95°C. This gives

unlimited flexibility with all kinds of fabrics, for instance Gore-Tex or other synthetic materials.

Hand and wool wash. You need never hand wash again. ASKO washing ma chi nes offer both hand wash and wool wash programs which are even gentler than you could ever be. This has been proved in seve ral tests. (W6762 only hand wash)

Induction motor without carbon brushes. It provides a more effective balance control during the spin cycle reducing the likely hood of the machine going out of balance. The

second important feature is the induction motor is quieter in operation as opposed to a brush motor. The new motor also adheres to ASKO’s policy of producing products that are quality with less moving parts the induction motor will improve the lifespan of your washer.

One push and go! There are 4 program buttons for your favorite programs. Push one and then start! This is what you do 9 times out of 10. The

choose, user-friendliness is always a priority for us.

With our new EasyDial™ model program we’ve

taken another step closer to optimum simplicity. In

close collaboration with the Swedish Consumer

Agency, we’ve developed a brand new user interface

for our washing machines and tumble dryers.; proba-

bly the most logical and well thought-out user inter-

face on the market.

The EasyDial™ user interface is based on the princi-

ples of a familiar mechanical knob. The high-tech jog

dial and push-buttons are all circular with a rotating

light indicator. An old-fashioned, easy to understand

mechanical knob in modern clothing.

In addition we have striven to give the interface a

more playful expression. In doing this we hope to

contribute to more smiles when doing the laundry.

with a smile.

A wide range of programs for all kinds of clothing.

With different programs, various temperature levels and a host of other options,

you can wash any load you like as clean as you like. The number of programs varies

depending on which model you choose. However, there is always a basic level that can

cope with all kinds of laundry.

Heavy wash90ºC, 135 min. The program contains a pre-wash, main wash and two spin cycles at 800 rpm, two rinses and a final rinse spin cycle at maximum spin speed.

Normal60ºC, 110 min. This program is equivalent to the Heavy program, but without a pre-wash. To be used for heavily-soiled whites where 60ºC is an adequate temperature.

White/Colour wash40ºC, 65 min. Suitable when having a big-ger load of less soiled laundry.

Synthetic wash40ºC, 65 min. For fabrics like Gore-Tex or other synthetics. The program has three rinses and a final spin at 800 rpm.

Light wash40ºC, 48 min. The Light wash is based on the Synthectic wash but the final spin is at the machines maximum spin speed.

Quick wash40ºC, 35 min. Washes small loads in only half an hour (35 minutes). The Quick wash is programmed for a short main wash, two rinses and a short spin. Naturally Quick wash is not suitable for stains or large wash loads!

Wool and Hand wash30ºC, 40 min. You can choose a maximum temperature of 40°C and the machine works with high water level. A very gentle action for ultimate care.

Rinse program15 min. A program that contains one rinse and a long spin cycle at maximum spin speed. Can be used when you want to rinse new clothes before first use or when you want to rinse your clothes after a hand wash.

Spin10 min. When you want to remove addi-tional residual moisture.

Drain1 min. You interrupt a program and can insert more laundry.

A tumble dryer without compromises.

A good tumble dryer should have

the capacity to cope with a large

amount of laundry with high air

flow. Only then can the optimum

effect be achieved. But this is not

something you have to worry

about, as our designers have already used these factors as the basis

when making our tumble dryers. They also have a unique butterfly drying

system that’s particularly gentle on your clothes, and even saves you having

to iron a lot of garments. The result is a tumble dryer that lasts for many

years, just like the clothes you wash and dry. So take a closer look at our

machines to see how they can make your life a little easier. Durable

The most relevant feature to the durability of the machine, apart from materials and construction, is the motor. If you want to minimize strain on the motor, you’ll need a non-stop dryer, as reversing dryers wear the motor out more quickly.

Dry without creasing

Many sensitive materials can only be tumble dried if you make sure they don’t tumble for too long or at too high a temperature. A tumble dryer is very much like an iron on synthetic fabrics: a synthetic garment that’s tum ble dried at the ideal temperature until “dry” and then taken out imme diately, doesn’t need ironing! It’s important to be able to lower the tem perature, and also that the ma chine has sensitive sensors that accurately gauge moisture and tempe-rature.

Prevents shrinkage and creasing.

Sensidry™ is a unique system developed by ASKO. Interaction be tween temperature sensors makes the drying result more even and more reliable than that of a conventional type sensor (which gau ges electrical resistance). Thereby SensiDry™ elimi-nates the clothes risk of over drying, shrinking and creasing.


Because our machines have such a long life, the design has to be able to stand the test of time equal-ly well. Our tumble dryers there fore have a simple design that goes perfectly with our washers, are easy to understand and use, and find a natural place in any laundry-room.


Just push a button and then start. ASKO tumble dryer measures air humidity and temperature and stops the program when the laundry reaches the dry level that you have chosen.

Tumble dryer feature glossary

6kg wash in a 111-litre drum. The larger the drum, the more air, the shorter the drying time and the smoother the wash! The 111-litre drum is able to dry a 6kg wash load with a perfect result!

Airing program. A perfect program if you want to fres-hen up clothes or get rid of hair from your cat or dog that has stuck on your clothes. The airing program tumbles the garment in cool air – how long

is up to you.

Butterfly Drying™. is ASKO’s own innovation. It saves both the motor and your ironing board. ASKO dryers tumble non-stop. Unique paddles inside the drum tumble the

clothes in a figure eight to prevent the clo-thes from bundling – no unnecessary strain on the motor, and no creasing.

Audible end signal. All ASKO dryers are delivered with an audible end signal As soon as the program is completed it emits a sound to tell you.

Child Safety. Simply program in a delay on the start button (easy to remove once the kids are old enough). To guarantee safety for the very youngest and most curious, the door

can be opened from the inside and the dryer has to be re-started if the door has been opened during drying.

Cleanable fan. Even though the double lint filter collects most of the lint, some of it is bound to end up in the fan. Should this happen you would normally have to call a service engineer

to have the lint removed. Thanks to ASKO’s unique cleanable fan you can easily do it yourself, saving the need for a service call.

Delayed start. A perfect solution if you want to make use of cheaper off peak elec-tricity rates, or you want the clothing fresh and warm when you return from work The

perfect way to set and forget.

Double lint filter. Lint hin-ders the air circulation inside the tumble dryer. Air circula-tion is absolutely crucial to efficiency, and therefore to energy consumption and dura-

bility. This is why ASKO tumble dryers are fitted with a particularly efficient double lint filter, which prevents lint from gathe-ring in the machine and thereby increases its lifetime.

EasyControl™ is a unique user interface. An interface that enables the user to make easy and full use of all the programming opportunities a complex electronic ma chine

has to offer. The beauty lies in its combina-tion of simplicity and flexibility. (T781C)

Easy to clean. The integrated condenser is placed at the bot-tom of the ASKO dryer. To access, simply remove the lower section of the front panel and

fold down the condenser cover. Pull out the condenser and spray the fins with warm water until the lint is removed.

Lighting inside. Some models have lighting inside the drum making it easier to load and unload the laundry. This means you can always find everything that went in, including that last

sock that always seems to get lost. (T781C)

Normal/Low temperature. Normal temperature is nor-mally used to minimize the drying time. But by using low temperature it’s possible to tumble dry sensitive fabrics

such as nylons, acrylics, rayons and ace-tates. Low temperature decreases the temperature with approx. 10°C. Thanks to a fine-tuned heatingsystem ASKO dryers can work on both normal and low temperatures.

One push and go! Simply push one of your 4 favourite programs and the dryer will do the rest. Each program will automatically dry to a different

moisture level, this excellent for drying dif-ferent types of garments.

The anti-crease program. Once the drying cycle is com-plete, the anti crease cycle can be activated to help prevent

Choose yourself or let ASKO do it all for you.

Your choice of program will depend on what you wish to do with the fabrics after tumb-

le drying. With six different standard programs, you can dry any load you like. The num-

ber of programs varies depending on which model you choose. However, there is always

a basic level that can cope with all kinds of laundry.

Extra dryA program for laundry that is difficult to dry, eg, jeans with thick seams.

DryThe program turns off the heat when the washing is dry, but not bone-dry, eg. towels, cotton, linen etc. The dry programme turns off the heat a little later than Normal dry.

Normal dryThis program also turns off the heat when the washing is dry, but not bone-dry, eg. synthetics etc.

Iron dryTo have the wash damp enough for ironing or mangling this program turns off the heat in right time.

Timed dryingYou can set the Program Time button to a specific number of minutes to dry the laundry. When you choose timed drying, you must set the Temperature Control knob to Normal or Low.

Airing programUse the air fluff program just to shake dust out of garments, air them or soften them up.

Anti-crease optionAn option designed to prevent wrinkling if you’re unable to remove them from the dryer right away. After the end of program, the drum will continue to rotate for three seconds every minute until the door is opened or one hour has passed. You can turn this option off or choose 1,2 or 3 hours.

Cooling optionThe clothes tumble without heat for a few minutes after the end of program. Normal option tumbles 20 minutes and Quick for 15 minutes.

Not all washing can be tumble dried. Not all clothes need washing.

Many people are under the

impression that a drying cabinet

and a tumble dryer do the same job, but that’s not the case. A drying

cabinet dries wet and damp clothes, shoes, boots, gloves, hats and many

other things that can get wet without necessarily needing to be washed.

A drying cabinet also dries laundry that shouldn’t be dried in a tumble

dryer. Some clothes should cer tainly not be placed in a tumble dryer if

they are to keep their original shape. Our new drying cabinets are sur-

prisingly spacious, with the equivalent of 16 metres of clothesline!

We’d also like to sor t out a minor misunderstanding. Drying cabinets

are extremely energy-efficient! And last but not least, our new drying

cabinets are designed to harmonise with our washing machines and

tumble dryers. All to give you a smarter looking laundry room.

Drying cabinet feature glossary

Dry quickly. Jumping in pud-dles, playing in rain-soaked sand or rolling in the snow – all are things kids love doing, and if their clothes are to keep up you need to be able to dry

overalls, rain clothes and boots as quickly as possible. That’s where our new drying cabinet is ideal. In just 2 hours you’re ready to face new challenges.

Dry with care. Drip-dry a silk shir t or dry your wool-len jumper on a flat surface. Check the labels on your clothes and you’ll see that many garments and materials

need par ticularly careful treatment. Silk, velvet and satin, for example, need to be handled with care. That’s when a drying cabinet comes in handy.

Dry a large load. Our dry-ing cabinets have three rows of folding pull-out hangers, corresponding to a total of 16 metres of clothesline. This means you no longer have to

hang up washing in the bathroom or on a separate stand in the laundry room.

Wet hats and gloves. There is a rack on the inside of the door for hats and gloves.

Dry shoes. Sometimes the rain can catch you by surprise, puddles are always tempt-ing, or the football pitch or jogging track has turned into a mudbath. Place your wet

shoes on the shoe-rack and they’ll soon be dry again.

Quiet. We asked our devel-opment depar tment to create the quietest possible drying cabinets. They responded with a model that has a noise level of just 58 dB(A).

Flexible interior The interior of ASKO’s drying cabinet hangs slightly loose. And that’s a good thing because it means you can modify the set-up as you wish, and hang everything from ten

rain suits to long coats, heavy, soiled firefigh-ting equipment or row after row of white silk bed sheets. Thanks to its flexibility, this drying cabinet fits in with any environment.

Left or right-hung door Freedom of choice also applies to our drying cabinets, so naturally you can choose to have a left or right-opening door, depending on where the cabinet is placed.

ASKO has developed the ultimate washing-up system. The excellent cleaning result is due to an efficient spray system which ensures the entire load is sprayed enough times, and that the main wash always begins with clean water, a rinsed load and a clean machine. Furthermore, we are proud to present the world’s first automatic cycle that controls both the washing and drying process. No need for you to rinse the dishes before placing them in the dishwasher. You don’t have to clean the filter so often and you always achieve gleaming results.

You no longer have to dry the dishes

The whole idea of having a dishwasher is to make life easier. For example, you shouldn’t have to hand-dry the dishes. The improved drying system ensures that the whole load is dry, without marks or smears on glasses and cutlery. Thanks to our new drying sensor, neither the climate nor the size of the load has any impact on the final result.

Our dishwashers consist of insulation, insulation and even more insulation

Sound-absorbing insulation accounts for one-third of the weight of our dishwashers. It comprises a highly insulating felt material along with bitumen, which is the same kind of insulating material found in luxury cars. The end result is an extremely quiet dishwasher. (D3530/D3630)

The world’s most water-efficient dishwasher?

To get the load really clean, a lot of water has to circulate around the dishwasher. Our dishwasher dis-place 4,200-6,000 litres of water during a wash. Even so, the water consumption is extremely low. Certain models can use as little as 13,6 litres of water. Washing the same load by hand would require over 60 litres. Take a closer look at your current model, and work out what you and the environment could save by changing dishwashers.

Our dishwashers have very low energy consumption, minimum consumption of detergent (25 gm/load) and rinse aid to spare our environment.

33 mm wider cup rack. Cups, mugs, bowls and glasses come in all sha-pes and sizes. That is why we have made the cup rack in the upper rack slightly wider, 33 mm wider than our standard cup rack, and height adjustable.

Now there’s room for glasses and plates on the top rack.. The upper rack has a clearance of 23 centi-metres. That leaves plenty of space for champagne flutes, tall latte glasses and 23 cm dinner plates.

54 cm load height. An extra 8% dishwasher is what 4cm gives you. Why buy a standard 82cm dishwasher when an ASKO XL for no extra charge will acco-modate larger crockery in the top basket. This gives our new XL even more flexibility than our current 82cm models!

The lower rack is now even roomier. A new lower bottom rack and a holder for large bowls and dishes make it easier to fill the dishwasher. (available as accessory)

A deeper knife rack. At the very top we have placed a knife rack. In our XL dishwashers this rack is deeper and can hold not only knives, but also whisks and ladles. It is well shielded from inquisitive children’s hands. And like our other models, this shelf has a separate spray-ing system. (available as accessory)

Why buy a standard dishwasher when you can have an XL?

Kitchens are changing. We spend more

and more time in the kitchen and we

are thinking along new lines when

planning. Bench heights are increasing

too as people become taller. The stan-

dard height now is 90 cm or more in

some cases, so we have adapted our

dishwasher accordingly. New models

now come in a height of 86 cm to fit modern

kitchens better. ASKO’s dishwashers have always

been the most spacious on the market, but now

they provide even more space for all your crock-

ery, glassware and cooking utensils.

A major problem with most dishwashers is where do you store those tall wine glasses? You can now store your tall wine glass either standing up as in the image, or lying down on an angle if its a really tall glass. A perfect solu-tion when you have a dinner par ty!

We´ve put a lot into the racks. Stronger racks simply do not exist in a dishwasher. ASKO`s racks are the sturdiest on the market.

Handle. A handle located in the centre of the basket, giving the basket better balance when pulling it out. A fine-meshed base. No other dishwasher rack has such a

fine mesh at the base. Compare for yourself and discover how sparse other manufacturers’ racks are. The benefits are clear, for example dishes don’t fall through if they tip over, and you have plenty of flexibility in how you load the machine.

For champagne glasses. If you have many guests and there isn´t room for all your glasses in the upper rack, the new wineglassholder (red section illustrates this holder) for tall glas-ses in the lower rack will surely help you out. Also perfect for loading small bowls. (only on D3630)

Folding & dividable plate racks. Thanks to the folding plate racks,(red section illustrates the folding plate racks) you can create a flat space for large pans above the PowerZone™.

Ergonomically designed cutlery rack. ASKOs patented cutlery rack has a handle that is ergonomi-cally designed and easy to fold down for extra space. The space under the handle is enough to prevent you cutting yourself on the cutlery. The rack stands firmly on four feet and can also be moved sideways if you need extra room for large pans.

Holder for small spoons and knives.The small compartment with a lid holds small items that might otherwise move around in the machine. Sharp knives can be hung upside-down from the lid, as can silver spoons to keep them apart and avoid discoloration.

ASKO offers a unique solu-tion where the lower rack glides smoothly on eight wheels all the way across the door, making loa-ding and unloading easy. Also the whole rack can be lifted out. All this to protect your back.

Knife rack. To protect child-ren, glass and china, place sharp knives in the special knife rack protectively installed in the top of the dishwasher. The rack has its own spray system to ensure the knives get really clean.

Height-adjustable wineglass shelf.Place wineglasses in the height-adjustable wineglass shelf to pre-vent them rubbing against each other. Slightly tilt large glasses, and let small glasses hang freely.

Support wires. Support wires stop glasses from tipping over, even small long-stemmed glasses stay firmly in place.

Adjustable pin racks.For optimal flexibility when loading different sizes of plate and saucer, the pin racks can be pla-ced in two or six different positions, or folded down completely.

Robust and durable. The racks are made of durable steel and have a thick long lasting nylon coating that protects glass and china. Feel free to compare the difference in stability with other makes.

Height-adjustable and dividable cup shelf.Cups and glasses don’t come in standard shapes. neither does our cup shelf. It is dividable to give you more room for your cups and glasses, whatever shape and size.

Shelf-end. A special shelf-end stops cups and glasses sliding off if you only fill half the cup shelf.

Ballbearings. The upper rack slides smoothly with four wheels along a ball-bearing strip. Rubber stoppers halt the rack at the end.

China guard & Handle.The guard prevents you from placing items that are too tall in the lower rack. Also serves as a handle.

No broken handles. A protective rack stops delicate cup handles stick-ing out and possibly being broken off.

Glass support rack. We have designed a wavy glass support rack to firmly secure glasses. The rack can be folded down if you need extra space.

The racks in our DuoPro™

system are manufactured in

the usual meticulous way. This

placement of the upper rack in

relation to the lower rack has

been carefully considered to

Even so, it’s the lower rack that’s the very

hear t of the DuoPro™ concept. We have

created a flexible solution that can just as

easily deal with large volumes of glasses

as it can with large casseroles, saucepans

and baking trays, or indeed a varied mix-

ture. Take a closer look at how the lower

rack can be transformed. Simple and

extremely intelligent.

The upper rack moves easily on four wheels which run on ball-bearing rails.

The upper rack in DuoPro™ is shallow and has no inser ts at all. A profes-sional rack that can take any kind of load you need: cups, short glasses or bowls.

Plenty of room for your utensils.

A spacious basket for ladles, whisks and large serving cutlery in the upper rack. The basket is easy to remove if you need the whole upper rack for another type of load.

The lower rack runs steadily all the way out on eight wheels. This makes it easy to load and unload. The entire rack is also simple to lift out completely.

The racks are made from durable steel and finished in a thick nylon coating that protects glass and china.

Pots & Pans

Take out the glass inser ts and the plate rack, and you have a completely smooth rack for loading all the large casseroles, bowls and saucepans you used to have to wash up by hand. Not forgetting baking trays!

Mixed load

The lower rack comes with two glass inserts and folding pinracks for plates in the middle. This set-up means you can load a mixture of dinner plates and glasses. Remove the glass inserts and you also have room for those very large plates and dishes.

Remove the plate rack and add the extra glass insert for the machine, and you suddenly have room for all kinds of beer and wine glas-ses – especially the really big ones.

8 Steel. There are few if any constructions as stable as those made of steel, as is clearly illus-trated by the Eiffel Tower, for instance. No other material lasts

as long, especially in an environment where water, salt, rinse aid, detergent and children are everyday factors. This is why we produce our dishwashers with 8 of the most impor-tant components made of high-quality steel (rather than plastic, for example).

AquaSafe™. To assure our-selves that you won’t expe-rience a leaking dishwasher in the kitchen, we’ve developed AquaSafe™, an advanced water

safety program that partly consists of sen-sors that detect even the slightest leak. The system comprises 16 different points, all of which help ensure a leak-safe dishwasher for many years of problem-free operation.

CoolTouch™. A fan cools the load down to hand tempera-ture in 30 minutes. So there’s no risk of anyone bur ning themselves when unloading the

machine. Especially when run ning a very hot wash for pots and pans. (D3630/D3530)

Cutlery is the hardest part to clean. Cutlery can get really dirty and be hard to clean. A separate spray nozzle therefore concentrates on making everyt-

hing you put in the cutlery rack really clean. The results are dazzling. A separate top nozzle sprays the knife rack with the same good result.

Delayed start. The ASKO dis-hwashers are fitted with a Time Delay Start which allows you to delay washing 0,5-24 hours. You can wash over night and take

Easy-to-read panel. A good-looking, clear user interface that is easy to read, even from above, and even easier to use, is important to all users. All ASKO´s dishwashers have an electronic control. and program memory. All you need to do is press start. The memory function always keeps track on which program you used last.

New for those of you with little china, but lots of guests. There are many reasons to throw a big party but no reason at all to serve good drinks in

the wrong glasses. Quick Wash is the name of the efficient solution that washes slightly soiled loads clean in only 20 minutes (30ºC, no drying). 20 minutes passes extremely quickly, especially when you’re having fun.

Now you are guaranteed the right water level. Our sensors work together intel-ligently to ensure an optimum water level in the machine. The sensors detect when the

quantity of water exactly matches the pro-gram you have selected, and it always lets in the right amount of water regardless of the water pressure in your pipes. Also, the sensors monitor the entire wash process and remedy any shortcomings during the program. If, for example, you wash a large plastic bowl which gets turned over and fills up with water, reducing the amount of effec-tive water in the dishwasher, the machine immediately adds new water to ensure the full cleaning result. Our dishwashers have a second life. You can return your ASKO dishwasher at the end of its useful life with a clear conscience. Each detail over 50

grams, whether made of steel, plastic or rub-ber, is labeled for recycling and could reap-pear in another guise.

Super Cleaning system™. ASKO’s patented dishwashing system cleans the fine filter and all the interior surfaces after pre-wash and before running the main wash. This means that

the wash starts with rinsed dishes, a clean machine, an empty filter and fresh, clean water. The advantage of this process is that the dishes come out cleaner as they are washed without grease and left-over food. But you also save water, electricity and effort as you do not need to rinse the dishes yourself before loading the machine.

The intelligent automatic program. You no longer have to think about which program or option to choose to clean and dry different kinds of load.

ASKO’s Auto Wash controls both clea-ning and drying automatically. All you need to do is press the start button, and the SensiClean™ and SensiDry™ sensors ensu-re you have the right temperature, cycle and drying time for perfect results – with mini-mum time, water and energy consumption.(D3630/D3530/D3351)

The world’s most water-efficient dishwasher. To get the load really clean, a lot of water has to circulate around the dis-hwasher. Our new dishwashers

displace 4,200-6,000 liters of water during a wash. Even so, the water consumption is extremely low. One load uses 13.6-13.9 liters of water. Washing the same load by hand would require over 60 liters. Take a closer look at your current model, and work out what you and the environment could save by changing dishwasher.

Temperature sensor. The built-in heating element is controlled by a temperature sensor, a thermistor, which ensures that the water in the dishwasher maintains the

right temperature. It should not deviate by more than +/- 1ºC. This reduces electricity consumption and means that delicate items, including plastic, are not damaged by too dra-matic temperature fluctuations.

We added a buzzer so you can hear when the machine's finished. The dishwasher hardly makes a sound when running. However, when it finishes a

buzz signals that the load is ready. Otherwise it’s difficult to hear because the machine is so quiet. (D3630/D3530/D3231)

Tired of cleaning the filter? Relax. With ASKO’s new dis-hwashers you only have to clean the filter around 2 times a year as both the strainer and filter are self cleaning.

Electropolished strainers and continuous airing and spraying, combined with the patented ASKO Super Cleaning System, keep the strainer and filter clean. The pri-mary strainer gathers up any large pieces of excess food and other dirt so it is clearly visible, and it is quick and easy to empty.

Turbo drying. ASKO’s fan dry dries the dishes using an inge-nious fan system. After the final rinse, the moist air in the dish-washer is mixed with dry air from outside, and the machine

Two-hand childlock on door.You have to hold in the childlock at the same time as opening the door with the handle. This necessary two-hand

maneuver is not something children can manage, so the dishwasher’s like a locked door to them (excluding integrated models). However, the childlock is easy for an adult to activate and deactivate. (D3630/D3351/D3121/D3111)

Unique pan spraying. At some time or another we all leave sau-cepans on the stove. The rice or the sauce gets stuck on the bot-tom, and there are better ways

of spending your time than washing these pots and pans up by hand. ASKOs patented spray nozzle shoots water right into the saucepan and does the dirty work for you.

A wide range of different programs for all loads.

A unique new automatic program, various temperature levels and a host of other options,

you can wash any load you like as clean as you like. The number of programs varies

depending on which model you choose. However, there is always a basic level that can

cope with all kinds of washing up.

Auto washThe dishwashing process is automa-tically adapted to the current load, for example with/without pre-wash, temperature, length of main wash and number of rinses. If the machine has SensiDry™ the drying process is also controlled to achieve optimum results. You get perfect cleaning and drying results with minimum time, water and energy consumption!

Intensive washThis program can deal with even the toughest dishes. First there is a pre-wash at 40ºC, then a cold pre-wash and the main wash at 75ºC to ensure that heavily soiled loads are comple-tely clean. This is followed by a spray-off, three rinses and drying.

Heavy washA program for heavily soiled pans with the same cycle as the intensive wash, the only difference being that the main wash is at 70ºC.

Normal wash Probably the program you will use the most if you do not have autowash. Suitable for all kinds of standard-soiled load. First a pre-soak, followed by the main wash at a basic temperature of 55ºC, then spraying, two rinses plus drying.

Mix washThe program is adapted for lightly soiled/delicate items in the upper rack (with low spray pressure) and heavily soiled/robust items in the lower rack (with normal spray pressure) First a main wash including a pre-soak at the basic temperature of 55ºC. This is followed by spraying, two rinses and drying.

1/2 LoadTo save energy and water, you can now wash half a load in the upper or lower rack alone. First a main wash including pre-soak at a basic tempera-ture of 55ºC, followed by two rinses and drying.

Delicate wash/Glass washA very gentle program that carefully washes delicate items so they are sparkling clean. Ideal for sensitive items such as fragile glasses, for example. First a main wash including pre-soak at a basic temperature of 40ºC, followed by two rinses and drying with low spray pressure.

Quick wash 20 minutesA perfect program if you only want to wash lightly soiled cups or glasses. Washes clean quickly with a main wash at 30ºC and two rinses.

Rinse & HoldA rinsing program that sprays the load with cold water during 4 minutes.

Rinse and DryA rinsing program that sprays the load at 50ºC and then dries it.
