SRP (Scaling and Root Planning) is most important

periodontal treatment for general dentists. we can not do periodontal surgery because lack of skill and

necessary equipments.

SRP is basic periodontal treatment we do every day, SRP is

not a prophylaxis (cleaning), It is first phase basic

periodontal treatment.

we need only 5 scalers and sharpening stones.

Prophylaxis first and the next appointment do SRP. Do notdo SRP & Prophylaxis same time. Charge SRP separately.
