State Bank of India is the largest public sector bank in India with over 17000 branches worldwide.It has an asset of US$400 billion.Every year SBI conducts various exams for the post of clerk, PO/SO,managers etc.SBI Probationary Officer (PO) 2016 notification has been released for 2062 posts and exam will be help in July and August.

SalarySelected candidates will get 16900/- as basic salary. Candidates will also get the benefits for D.A, H.R.A & C.C.A benefits. SBI PO salary varies from one city to another.


SBI PO 2016 - Eligibility

Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or possessing any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Age Limit : Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years calculated as on 01 April 2016.

The maximum age limit shall be relaxed for the reserved category candidates as per the reservation norms of the Government of India.

SBI PO 2016 – Pattern & Syllabus

SBI has decided to conduct this exam in 3 phases listed below.

Phase- I: Preliminary exam (Duration: 1 hour, Marks: 100) 1. English 2. Quantitative Aptitude 3. Reasoning Ability

Phase - II : Main exam (a) Objective test (Duration: 2 hour, Marks: 200) 1. English 2. Data Analysis and Interpretation 3. Marketing, Computer and GK 3. Reasoning Ability (b) Descritptive test( Duration: 1 hour, Marks: 50) 1. English letter writing and essay

Phase - III: GD & PI ( Total Marks: 50)
