Glass techniques and services...Fused - Simply put, fusing involves heating pieces of glass until they

bond. On-staff experts handle the complicated aspects and the more subtle properties of melted glass. We have many kilns, ac-commodating the most demanding projects.

Cast Crystal and Kiln textured - Virtually any shape that can be formed in clay can also be cast

in crystal or glass. Kiln texturing manipulates the surface of glass to life in subtle (or dramatic) patterns that enhance tactile quality and catch the light. Using one of our many kilns, pieces ranging from intimate to larger than life can be produced.

Blown - Savoy is located in the hot bed of glass in the Pacific Northwest and is strategically partnered with expert glass blowers. We can design molds enabling us to create blown glass with excit-ing shapes and accurate dimensions not possible in free-hand blowing. Blown pieces can be incorporated into sculptures or lighting fixtures.

Stained and Painted - Savoy has been internationally recognized for its mastery in the art of painting and construction of stained glass. Savoy has also pioneered the use of waterjet cutting technology in a commercial art glass studio, shortening fabrication on large projects.

Custom Lamination - Savoy provides innovative technologies for customized solu-tions in an extensive range of exciting architectural glass prod-ucts including laminated, high performance safety and security glass products.

Etched and Carved - Etching is literally the carving and sculpting of glass with the use of sand. Savoy offers nearly an infinite range of etching techniques and options including three dimensional carving, air-brush shading, and photo etching. Our in-house blasting room allows us to work on all scales from delicate to monumental.

Lighting - Utilizing emerging technologies in LEDs and motion projection Savoy can accomplish any lighting vision. We UL list all of our fixtures and can engineer toward specific power and wattage limitations.

Metal and Structural - Our in-house metal fabrication shop allows us to create the framework that projects can be built off. Our waterjet cutting capabilities produce original patterns for inventive structural de-signs.

3D Models and Rendering - Our designers can create photo quality renderings of design concepts that make imagination become reality. As designs progress we can provide fully build ready 3D models using AutoCad and Solidworks.

Digital Printing on Glass - Savoy SPG employs state-of-the-art equipment and techniquesto produce digital graphics and images of uncompromising quality on glass. Large format (54”x108”), excellent UV stabil-ity, and LEED potential set us apart from competitors. This pro-cess can be combined with our other techniques for innovative and one of a kind pieces.
