• Algae Plants Grows in water with High Toxins and metal contents such as Phosphorous , Lead and Arsenic

•Plants Above water level also indicates that the Lake Bed is Becoming more shallow and hence will dry eventually

NEED OF BANGALORE

• Natural Open Spaces and Lakes to be preserved for public and Enviourment well being

• This is On BJP Govt’s Agenda for Bangalore Development too

– Proper Management of Sewage and Storm Water Drain

– Water Treatment Plant for the Sewage water before entering the lake

– Lake Cleanup : To Remove Non Degradable Toxins and Increase Lake Depth

– Removal of the Garbage Disposal Sites around the lake

– Tarred Road all along the lake to Increase the participation and contribution from the residents

– Landscaping around the Lake to stop Further encroachment and increase public interest in the lake

– No NEW commercial activity around the lake
