Expanding SAVE“...a local non-profit organization is tirelessly working to break the
shackles of low expectations of teenagers and work to impact the lives of so
many in need. Sustaining a Village Everyday is a teen-led non-profit
organization that not only has raised over $100,000 over the past four years
in order to sustain the rural village of Boukeron, Haiti, but also has
empowered the youth of Rutherford County to invest in something bigger
than themselves.”
• Goals:
– To spread the name and mission of SAVE
– To raise donations

Process we used to achieve our goal
• Hard work and many meetings • Distributed jobs to our members weighing in ability and
experience. • We contacted local businesses to spread the name of
“S.A.V.E”• We worked with S.A.V.E. leaders in order to learn how
to best utilize the marketing tools created within this campaign.
• Set goals and a time frame to accomplish what we wanted
![Page 12: SAVE Public Relations Campaign Youth Leadership Rutherford](https://reader035.vdocuments.mx/reader035/viewer/2022081506/56649f1d5503460f94c342fc/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
What we learned
• We learned that Public Relations is very important– Getting the S.A.V.E. name out is crucial
for success• especially what the organization stands
for– S.A.V.E. Logo is key in this process
• We accomplished this through social media
![Page 13: SAVE Public Relations Campaign Youth Leadership Rutherford](https://reader035.vdocuments.mx/reader035/viewer/2022081506/56649f1d5503460f94c342fc/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
What we learned:
• Time management is key – make the project a priority – flexibility and patience is key– we utilized our notes to inform
everyone on our progress– Google Drive has been a huge
help in meeting with one another
