Welcome to Savannah: Writers' Voices Up North Proudly brought to you by CityLibraries TownsvilleI commend the program to you, and trust that you will enjoy the many opportunities available, from writing workshops to readings by the lake, to panel discussions. There is something for everyone in the program.

The development of Townsville as a learning community is a key strategic focus for CityLibraries Townsville, and we work hard to provide programs to develop literacy and a love of reading for all ages. So in 2015, we have Savannah. I would like to congratulate the staff of CityLibraries Townsville for bringing this festival to fruition, in partnership with other members of the steering committee, the Foundation for Australian Literary Studies, Writers in Townsville, Townsville Writers and Publishers and Mary Who?
