Introduction• The formation of SEC came as a result of the Council of

Ministers’ Resolution Number 169 Dated November 29, 1998.

• Main Purpose is to generate, transmit and distribute electric energy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, either by itself or through wholly or partially owned subsidiaries.

• Cash Management and Investment Division (CMID) is under the Treasury Sector. Mainly– it supports the company with required money to cover

expanses. – Enlarge the amount of money by investing.

Problems of the Old System

• Uses MS Excel to enter data.• No sorting methodology.• No archiving system.• Reports are the page just filled.• Manual calculations are made.

Proposed Solution

The solution for this case is using Database Software so that they can control all money and the transferring. In addition, they can get summary reports using that system. Since they do not want an expensive software because they will get SAP System very soon, I proposed to them MS Access as a solution to Database Software.
