• Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun

• Saturn is 886 million miles or 1,426 million kilometers from the Sun.

• Saturn spins much faster than earth. Saturn is a great ball of hydrogen and helium.

• Saturn is the farthest from the Sun.

• Saturn has 53 moons

• These are some of Saturn’s moons Titan, Rhea, Hyperion, Janus, Phoebe, Pan, Pandora, Helene, Calypso, Prometheus, Anthe, Kari and Daphnis.

Planet appearance

• Saturn is a yellowish color with rings made out of ice, chunks of water, dust and rocks

• There is 7 main rings.

• The planet symbol of Saturn looks like a H with a curve at the end.

• Saturn has 7 main rings A-G the rings are made out of ice and dust.

• The rings are 169,800 miles wide.

Exploration

• Pioneer 10 was first Probe to study Saturn in 1979.

• Voyager was launched September 5,1977 it flew past Saturn.

• Five missions have sent to Saturn.

• If Saturn was in water it will float.
