Saturn

• Saturn is such an awesome planet. It was named after the roman god of agriculture, Saturnus. A lot of people could see Saturn

because it shone in the night sky.

Location

• Saturn is extremely far from the sun. It is the 6th planet and is 885,900,000 miles from the sun. Saturn’s orbit is a circumference of 1.43 billion km. It’s so far that a year on Saturn is Twenty-nine Earth years.

Mass

• Saturn is huge! It is 120,540 km in diameter and 250,000 with it’s rings. Saturn also weighs 3.2 metric tons. Earth would go into Saturn 855 times.

Moons and Rings

• Saturn has so much things surrounding it. It has 61 moons almost as much as Jupiter {who’s bigger.} Saturn also has a ton of rings. It has more rings than all of the other planets combined.

Human Fare

• A human would definitely not survive on Saturn because of Saturn’s temperatures that can reach -191 degrees Celsius. Humans also wouldn’t survive on Saturn because there is no solid ground so we would sink. There is also a violent windstorm that has been lasting for 300 years.

Gases, Something Special

• The gases that Saturn has are truly extraordinary, which are Hydrogen and Helium. If you put Saturn in a huge bathtub Saturn would float. If Saturn was a balloon it would keep on going higher and higher forever.

Credits

• So you can see why Saturn is such a great planet! Saturn was named after the roman God of agriculture, Saturnus. It is also 885,900,000 million miles from the sun. It weighs 3.2 metric tons. Saturn has more rings than all of the other planets combined. There is no way how a human could survive on Saturn because of the harsh temperatures and sink to the ground because there is no solid ground. Did you know that Saturn’s rings are 300,000 miles in circumference but only a foot thick.

• Thanks From Vikram (who did everything), Joey, Jordan, And Juvenal
