Writing
Pupil’s writing in school is very important as we now compile a portfolio of your child’s
writing throughout the year. This is marked in school and each piece of writing
goes towards an overall assessment. There is no test for writing.
Our writing assessment is very rigorous and we are moderated by Calderdale Authority
on a regular basis.
How can we help your child?

• That you contact school at the first sign of any problems.
