MISSIONS: BIBLESTICKS

Help support our soldiers and their families by paying for one or more BIBLESTICKS. This pocket-sized BibleStick includes an audio recording of the entire New Testament. $25 sponsors one soldier and their family. Our goal is to raise $2,500 to impact 100 soldiers and their families. WE ARE HALF-WAY THERE! We have raised $1,250.00 which pays for 50 BibleSticks.

Today, we dedicate Eleanor Kate Benner, born on Oct. 8, 2016 to Sean & Alyssa Benner.

MEN’S MINISTRY – YARD SALE The Men’s Ministry is hosting an YARD SALE on Sat., May 6 from 8 am – 12 noon. Volunteers are needed to donate items, set up tables on Friday, help with the yard sale on Saturday, etc. Proceeds will be used to help purchase materials needed to help families with repairs to their home, etc. Please see Mike Dillard for info.

YOUTH MINISTRY See Alison to sign up for The WKND on May 5-7! Deposit of $25 was due on March 25. Total cost is

KIDS’ CAMP Kids’ Camp this year will be June 17-19. All kids ages 5-11 are invited to come. The cost is $70. Please see Alison for more information and a registration form.

BRIDAL SHOWER On Sun., Apr. 23 from 2-4 pm, the Women’s Ministry is hosting a Bridal Shower for Megan Kesler & Josh Whitworth. All women are invited. The couple is registered at Bed, Bath, & Beyond.

EASTER EGG HUNT Sat., April 15 at 10 am

NEW MINISTRY FOR AGE 30-50 Adam & Kellie Speir will be leading a new ministry for those age 30-50. You are invited to their first meeting TONIGHT at 5:30 pm, La Parilla in Homewood Hills.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL The dates for this summer’s VBS is Sun., June 4 though Thurs., June 8 from 6 – 8:30 pm. Our theme is: “Maker Fun Factory: Created by God

for a Purpose.” This year’s VBS Coordinator is Michelle

Crook. Volunteers are needed to help with snacks, crafts, and stage decoratations, and to teach small groups. Please let Michelle know that you are willing to volunteer.
