Sartorial Footwear is the creation of Steven Leonard Allen.
Steven has worked with many of the Northamptonshire’s welted footwear manufacturers for over twenty five years and has managed businesses ser-vicing the finest shoemakers in the county. Sartorial has been established to provide a service that has been too long missed from the Northampton-shire trade - that of making the highest quality cemented slippers, pumps and tuxedo shoes to compliment the existing high specification welted footwear made in the area.
“Our footwear has been developed to be two or three grades higher than other products on the market”, commented Steve. “For so long now I have seen the same old dusty companies make the same grade of product they made twenty years ago and I cannot believe this is the best that can be of-fered to run alongside the elite in Goodyear welted manufacturing in the world”.
“Quality has moved on, customers want more, so I have decided to try and make the difference. Yes, they maybe a little more expensive, but I really cannot compromise in making anything less than exceptional. So when it comes to materials and craftsmanship, everything is made in Northamp-tonshire, England and constructed using only premium materials”.
“Sartorial are using the highest quality calf suede and calf leathers, as well as luxury velvets and cloths from the best mills in England - Savile Row suits are made using some of these cloths. When worn, Sartorial slippers and shoes can make a distinctive and original statement”.
