combining the best of several established methods.

The methodologies most commonly used in software

development are Waterfall and Agile. Waterfall is

common on projects which are well defined, have

clear start and end points and are not subject to changing requirements, or shifting market or

internal management forces. Requirements gathering, documentation, design, development

and testing are managed in a step-by-step, continuous process.

Agile is used on projects that require more flexibility throughout the design and development

process or where requirements are evolving. This approach encourages iterative “sprints,”

designed, developed and tested on a module-by-module basis.

NIK FROELICH, CEO

Nik is the founder and visionary behind Saritasa, which began as an online marketing and

software development company in 2005. Nik’s approach to business and passion for innovative

technologies is the impetus and philosophy that drives Saritasa’s approach. Nik brings over 25

years of business development, marketing and information technology experience to the

company he founded.

Prior to starting Saritasa, Nik started and ran a construction-related service. Under his direction,

the company grew from a small local business to a nationwide service provider. Nik relied

heavily on new technologies to create solutions and efficiencies that allowed for rapid growth,

and it was this understanding of how technology can improve business success that motivated

him to create Saritasa.

Nik’s goal is to share his vision and optimism for the future of technology, technical skills and

business savvy, to create innovative software products for businesses.

DMITRY SEMENOV, CTO

Dmitry Semenov has 14 years of experience building and managing technology projects. He is

proficient in full software lifecycle development, with deep knowledge in PHP, .Net, iOS and

Android. He is skilled in the architecture of high demand, high traffic systems and has worked

extensively with complex databases and integrating diverse software environments. Dmitry was

previously founder and CEO of Ochen Interesnee, a Russian-based software development

company providing services for US-Based businesses and start ups.

JEFF LENARDSON, CFO

Prior to his position at Saritasa, Jeff was CFO/COO and co-founder of Virtual Networks, Inc., a

network integration firm that was acquired by IKON Office Solutions in 1997, a Fortune 50

company with over 10,000 employees. Jeff sits on the Board of Directors for MerchantsXL, a

merchant services company for business, as well as ROI Networks, Pain Concepts, NP Catalyst

and DFL Capital. Jeff specializes in Financial and Operations efficiencies and Mergers &

Acquisitions, and has extensive experience with payment processing for complex payment

systems. Jeff has a BS in Finance from Cal State Long Beach.

MAX SLUKIN, DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Max has been in Information Technology for over 10 years and has deep understanding of

software development processes and in managing efficient product delivery. Max began in IT

as a web developer, switching to mobile development shortly after Apple announced the iOS

SDK for mobile app development. Since then, he has had rich experience with managing full

development cycles, including client-facing, QA and code reviews.

Before joining Saritasa, Max was president of a Europe-based software development company,

which became part of Saritasa in 2006 and was leading IT development infrastructure managing

30+ employees.

GREG DAWSON, BUSINESSS DEVELOPMENT

Greg has been in technology for over 25 years working with IBM, Microsoft, Software Spectrum,

and Concord Technologies. His ability to assemble professional project teams and deliver

successful projects has led to a long and successful technology career. He has developed

successful partnerships with companies such as Sony, Smart Source, LLC., careLOFT, eDepoze,

Lyynks, ARBO, Showbiz Media Services and Calign for Saritasa, delivering successful software

and product development projects.

DAN KENTON, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

Dan has 25 years in Information Technology, across a wide variety of industries, projects and

roles. As an IT consultant and a partner in a software enterprise, Dan has been directly engaged

in the many facets of software and business development. His experience includes product

design and programming, as well as business operations, sales and marketing, support, training

and team management. At Saritasa, Dan engages in product and client-focused activities,

working directly with Stakeholders, as well as project managers, technical analysts, designers

and developers to insure every client’s vision is successfully realized.

Dan has consulted with such companies as: IBM, AT&T, Merrill Lynch, Blue Cross / Blue Shield,

Associated Press and World Bank.

HIEN TRAN, PRODUCT/PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Hien is a project manager with responsibility for maintaining many project budgets and

deadlines. With over 10 years of industry knowledge, Hien excels in many business processes,

ensuring client’s expectations are met. Prior to joining Saritasa, Hien owned his own consulting

firm. His expertise covers a wide range of industries from healthcare to manufacturing to retail

to government. His clients included Cardinal Health, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Defense

Logistics Agency, Mead Westvaco, and Boston Scientific.

Hien began his career as a staff accountant for Victoria’s Secret Catalogue in 1996. After

receiving his degree in Information Technology, he became a developer and was quickly

promoted to senior consultant responsible for managing a team of 20-40 people, both onshore

and offshore, for Fortune 500 companies. Hien managed projects ranging from $3 million to

$400 million. Hien also served as a member of the location lead management team for

Accenture, participating in strategic and business planning, as well as leadership in the financial

model and management system redesign.

CHERYL ADAY, TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER & SCRUM MASTER

Cheryl has successfully managed development of such high visibility mobile device projects as

Beachbody’s P90X® app for iPhone (selected by Apple® as one of the Best Apps of 2011 in

Health and Fitness) and MuveMusic, an unlimitedmobile music experience (600,000+ paid

subscribers). She has also overseen development and maintenance of high availability, high

traffic websites and SaaS web applications such as Hellomusic.com (a site for independent

musicians), CBSradio.com (streaming media on the web that supported 500,000 listeners per

second), and Millward Brown Interactive’s AudienceAudit®, BrandImpact® and Voyager market

research SaaS platforms. Cheryl also helmed development of software for embedded systems at

Leapfrog, including 20 software titles for the 2006 Toy-of-the-Year-Award-Winning Fly Pentop.

Specializing in verticals of music, education, and health and fitness technology, she has guided

development in multiple languages and platforms, and is an experienced SCRUM Master.

CHRIS REED, UI/UX ARCHITECT & DIRECTOR

Chris specializes in Interactive Design, User Experience (UX), and User Interface (UI) for web and

mobile devices, including iPhone, Android, and Windows Mobile, as well as their tablet

counterparts. He is the key design architect for Saritasa. With years of gaming experience

working at Blizzard, Chris bring strong design skills to Saritasa’s design department. Chris’

background includes: Professional Graphics for Presentations, Branding and Marketing

Materials, Typography, Illustration, Game GUI's, Social Networking, Photo Enhancement,

Photography, 3D Prop and Character Modeling, Hand-painted Texturing, Storyboarding, Video

Editing, Animation.

SALES SOLUTIONS – Logistics & CRM

A major distributor of content in the entertainment industry came to Saritasa to create a

cutting-edge, industry leading, mobile app for their sales team. We designed an immersive,

interactive 3-D “world” integrated to existing, cross-departmental legacy databases that

provided real time order status and history, sales support, decision support and competitive

intelligence.

SALES SOLUTIONS -- Presentations

An enterprise medical device company wanted a tablet app for their sales force which would

demonstrate the workings and details of one of their products. Saritasa worked with their

marketing team to create an interactive, animated app that clearly demonstrated the actual

workings of the device inside the body along with the medical research and case studies to

support the benefits of the product.

SALES SOLUTIONS – Asset Management & Presentations

A major pharmaceutical company wanted a tablet app for their sales team to manage the high

volume of sales presentation aids and documents and allow the tablet to be used as a

presentation tool. Saritasa designed and created an iOS iPad App and a web-based

Administrative Backend to manage various documents (image, PDF, movie, Word), on a user-

based permission basis, which syncs the documents to the tablet and allows the user to create

custom presentations utilizing the assets.

RETAIL

A major gaming headset manufacturer came to Saritasa to develop a kiosk interface utilizing

Android tablets, high-end graphics and video to demonstrate their products to consumers at

over 1,000 “Big Box” stores across the U.S. Saritasa rooted the Android OS and customized the

OS locking out all but the display app and created a backend, web-based content management

system to mange the content on the devices as well as monitor up time. Saritasa assisted in the

mass installation of the apps to the tablets prior to installation at the locations.

ENTERTAINMENT

Saritasa was hired by a start up which provided a “second screen” technology for the

entertainment and media markets. We worked with the startup’s internal team to develop the

SDK for iOS and Android, as well as build out numerous apps for major network prime time

television shows and major motion pictures.

PUBLISHING

Saritasa created and has been maintaining the online infrastructure of a national advertising

directory company consisting of over 200,000 sites serving over 1 million users a day. The

infrastructure supports the publishing, content creation and ad management for thousands of

SMB businesses. Our solution incorporated a highly scalable architecture, to accommodate this

high traffic web destination , which offers consumers a source for discovering local businesses

which bringing new advertising solutions to businesses.

TRANSPORTATION

The client manufactures and installs a radar/camera hardware device, mounted on street lights.

Saritasa developed an iPad application to communicate and control the radar and camera for

device configuration.

HEALTHCARE

Saritasa was hired to design and develop a full-featured Healthcare Management System

designed to streamline and automate the many day-to-day tasks within independent health care

facilities or franchises. This cross-platform application has many sophisticated features, such as

patient activity & mediation tracking, tasks and process workflow , complex role management,

administration tools, etc., utilizing iPhones for in-field careworkers tied to a web-based back-

office system.

SERVICES

An entertainment services company, responsible for managing actors and other entertainment

personnel to the industry, hired Saritasa to create several applications to help automate their

processes, such as streamlining forms management and providing a portal for user to access

their published materials digitally.

SERVICES

Saritasa was hired to design and create a mobile app which reads a car’s VIN number and

returns a Vehicle Health Index Score utilizing 3rd party API integration. This product offers

Individuals and dealers looking to purchase a vehicle, the ability to instantly do a background

check on the vehicle.
