My Brethren all. November brings a time when we need to take a breath from our busy lives and reflect on what we are thankful for. As we honor our families, our health, and livelihood lets us be thankful for the Fraternity we blessed to be a part of. Our Fraternity is thankful that is has continued to prosper from time immemorial. It has made good men better. From our fraternity we have made a positive and life changing impact on the society in which we live. It has created lifelong friendships. It has and continues to bring Light to a life that has had periods of darkness. When we find ourselves losing that “spark” of Freemasonry, let us always be thankful that we find ourselves in the company our Brothers with a warm smile, heartfelt laughter, and the joy of the unity that our brotherhood brings to one another. I want to express to the Craft to mark on your calendar November 26 th Stated Com- munication. I will dedicate the night to the Officers of the Lodge. My Brethren all. November brings a

time when we need to take a breath

from our busy lives and reflect on what

we are thankful for. As we honor our

families, our health, and livelihood lets

us be thankful for the Fraternity we

blessed to be a part of. Our Fraternity is

thankful that is has continued to prosper

from time immemorial. It has made

good men better. From our fraternity we

have made a positive and life changing

impact on the society in which we live.

It has created lifelong friendships. It has

and continues to bring Light to a life

that has had periods of darkness. When

we find ourselves losing that “spark” of

Freemasonry, let us always be thankful

that we find ourselves in the company our

Brothers with a warm smile, heartfelt

laughter, and the joy of the unity that our

brotherhood brings to one another.

I want to express to the Craft to mark on

your calendar November 26th Stated Com-

munication. I will dedicate the night to the

Officers of the Lodge. I will recognize their

efforts and achievements for the past year.

We will also be awarding the Mason of the

Year as well. Please make every effort to

Greetings from the West,

Brethren, it’s been a busy past couple months but we’re not done yet! On November 12th a Fel-

low Craft proficiency will be held at our first stated meeting. Our Lodge Instructors have been

diligently at work with their classes and no doubt our newly obligate brothers will be ready.

Saturday, November 23rdh, there will be a Master Mason degree at 8:30 a.m. Our Brother Jun-

ior Warden will be the degree master and is sure to put on a wonderful degree. Please make the

time to come and support your soon-to-be raised brothers. If you’re experience was like mine –

and I’m sure it was – you’ll remember the moment you were raised and how good it was to see

your brothers there to support you.

May you and your families have a wonderful Thanksgiving and don’t forget; November 11 th is Veteran’s Day. As many of you

know, there are quite a few veterans in our lodge as well as the many lodges throughout District 27. Take the time to thank them,

for if it weren’t for them and their dedication to serving this country we love, we may not have that 4 th Thursday of every Novem-

ber to give thanks!

Fraternally,

Damian Ostermeyer

Senior Warden

With elections coming up, we need to remember that we are not allowed to participate in any form of electioneering. Unlike

Grand Lodge and in other bodies, there are no nominations and there can be an unlimited number of ballots cast until a winner is

decided.

Living Past Masters

Greetings from the South

As November is best known for Thanksgiving, let’s give thanks for the blessings we

have.

I want to personally thank all the brothers of Sarasota #147 who not only joined us

for the Grand Master’s dinner, but helped improve our numbers at the lodge that

evening. The Grand Master was impressed by our attendance and the entire evening

went very well.

Also on Saturday, November 9th, the district will have open books at Sarasota #147

from 9am to 1pm. Come out and read up on ritual so we can continue to improve as

a lodge as well as individually. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no

Master Mason Association meeting.

Remember to roll your clocks back as daylight savings time ends.

Andrew Gluchov
