Ultrasound Machine : Diagnostics :

The high end Ultrasound system from WIPRO GE PRO

100 & GEP III Machine is used for the Ultrasound &

Color Doppler Study of patients in all the units. The

bed side facility for the needy patients is also

available 24*7.

The 24 HRS diagnostics services are provided by DR J P S NALWA (DCP ,MD). This center has advanced facilities for life saving as follows:

Color Doppler : ECG Machine :

Doppler color flow imaging is a method for noninvasively imaging blood flow through the heart by displaying flow data on the two-dimensional echocardiographic image. This capability has generated great excitement about the use of the technique for identifying valvular, congenital, and other forms of heart disease, as the colorflow image imparts spatial information to the Doppler data. Doppler data more readily understandablebecause of the avoidance of complex spectral velocity displays.

the GE Digital ECG Machines, so as to prevent

any delay in case of emergencies.

(3) MEDICAL EMERGENCIES :Medical Emergencies like acute M.I , acute ischemic stroke can be thrombolysed in the ICU set up with the availability of infusion pumps, invasive BP monitoring and multiparamonitors and defibrilators. Unknown and organophosphorous poisoning, which is very common in this region are well managed with the help of high grade ventilators.

(4) ORTHOPAEDIC AND TRAUMA SURGERY :The center is equipped with HIGH FREQUENCY DIGITAL C-ARM and IIU, which is a must for management of poly trauma and multiple fractures. Bone injuries which require immediate intervention like fracture spine with paraplegia, fracture pelvis retroperitoneal haematoma, fracture femur with vascular injury can be managed well by C- ARM.

(5) NEUROSURGERY :The hospital is running a full fledge neurosurgical setup. Neurosurgical emergencies after road side accidents like SDH, EDH, intra cerebral bleed, etc. are managed in the hospital without causing delays.

Emergency & Trauma Care at its best:

(1) GENERAL, TRAUMA & MINIMAL ACCESS SURGERY : The center is fully equipped with laparoscopic instrumentation and enables the surgeon to perform complex abdominal emergencies like perforated duodenal ulcer, haemoperitoneum, diagnosis and evaluation of blunt abdominal trauma. Using laparoscopy and C-T scan in all these conditions can prevent negative laparotomies and can save the patient from post operative morbidity.

(2) EMERGENCY G.I. ENDOSCOPY :The center is equipped with OLYMPUS VIDEO ENDOSCOPE for managing acute G.I emergencies like endoscopic sclerotherapy and banding for bleeding oesophageal varices and bleeding duodenal ulcer. Foreign bodies in stomach can be retrived by endoscope. Early screening of esophageal and gastric malignancies can be made at early stage without causing delay in referring to tertiary center.

Cardiac Rehabilitation is a branch of rehabilitation medicine dealing with optimizing physical function in patients with cardiac disease. This includes nutritional therapies, weight loss programs, management of lipid abnormalities with diet and medication, blood pressure control, diabetes management and stress management and yoga and meditation therapy. Each patient will have a program that’s designed to meet his/her needs.
