SymptomYou want to use interactive PDF forms created with the "SAP InteractiveForms by Adobe" solution in offline scenarios on mobile devices, such asPersonal Digital Assistents (PDAs). You need to know the systemrequirements.

Reason and PrerequisitesOnly certain mobile devices support interactive PDF form functions.
SolutionThe full range of SAP Interactive Forms offline functions is only availableon mobile devices capable of running the full version Adobe Reader onMicrosoft Windows, Linux, or Mac OS, that is, laptop/notebook computers andTablet PCs.
The only Adobe Reader version for PDAs that supports a limited set ofinteractive form functions is the Adobe Reader for Pocket PC available athttp://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readerforppc.html.This Reader version supports static interactive PDF forms.
The Adobe documentation lists the following features relevant forinteractive forms:
o If your PDA supports connections to the Internet, you can transferthe user entries in the form as XML data. (You cannot transfer thecomplete PDF form.)
o The data can be sent by e-mail, HTTP or as an XML File.
o Offline/online synchronization is supported.
o FormCalc, an Adobe-proprietary scripting language for creatingbusiness logic in a form, is supported.
There is no support for:
o JavaScript as a scripting language in the form
o Dynamic form features
o Web services
o Reader Rights extensions, that is special interactive features ofPDF forms (such as annotations and digital signatures)

Though, Reader X.1.1 for mobile is out Oct. 2011. But that is not supportedfor Interactive Forms by Adobe on iOS (iPad or iPhone) and Android. As oftoday we can not provide you a plan. Once something is available from Adobeside this note will be updated.
Note:As Reader is an Adobe product, this information is provided by SAP for yourinformation only. Adobe is currently not planning to extend the AdobeReader support to other PDA platforms.
