1.0 Transaction Code/ Path

Enter the menu path of the transaction code, which is going to be tested by the user.

1. Enter the Input FG Code, Plant & Usage No in Primary BOM2. Enter the to be converted FG Code, Plant & Usage No in Secondary BOM

Export this data to Excel sheet and arrive the net requirements and Primary FG which is to be converted in the list as mentioned below.

2.0 Create conversion BOM from the above table

2.1 Then create routing master as standard practice

3.0 Create Conversion Production Order – T.CODE ZPC1 Order type : ZC01

Press enter and select Routing by double clicking on the routing No.

Create Production conversion order

Delete auto generated Sl. No.

Release the Prdn. Order & Save (note down the prdn. order No.)

4.0 Create Manual reservation to FG Only for Matl stagging : T.Code MB21 Mvmt Type : 311

Save the reservation

Go to MB1B MOVEMENT TYPE:311

Enter Ok button

Select ‘M’ – Movement allowed and save the reservation

Go to MB1A – Mvmt: type : 261

Click To Reservation and enter the Reservation No. and press enter

Go to MB1A – Mvmt Type 261

Click To reservation and provide reservation no. and attach Eng. Sl. No and save. The Serial Number of Engine gets consumed.

Material Staging – MF60

Enter Order in Production/process orders tab, remove date from 'Selection period for rqmts'.Click global setting

Missing parts calculation:if there are multiple orders open for same header item, in

order to capture total requirements of all open order & depending upon stock lying at WiP, once needs to Select 'Include all requirements'.

Replenishment options:Since reservation no. needs to be generated for Stock

Transfer, Tick 'Stock transfer res.' field.Display:Click all four fields.Units of measure:if 'Unit of issue' is different then Unit of stock keeping,

select '1 Priority 1(highest)', accordingly quantity will be calculated & displayed in MF60 screen.

Select all or deselect

depending upon all components, to be staged. Click 'Replenishment Elements'.

Then Click 'Replenishment proposal', following screen will be

seen.

Select the lines & Click Stage.

Click for saving the

posting reservation.

Using the reservation no. generated, MF65 T Code will stage the material by reservation as standard process

Enter old FG Model No. and press Sl.No. List

Select the Engine Sl. No & Click Ok Button

To remove the Old Engine Sl. No from the old model go to IQ02 :

Input the New Material No. and save. Now the Sl. No. will be allotted to the New Matl. No.

Select the Structure Tab and change the Old FG No to New FG No.

6 Material Staging Posting for Reservation No. generated from MF60. 6.1 Go to MB25, enter Production order

After entering the order and executing MB25 T Code, one needs to Set filter on MvT Type, keeping it 311.

6.2 Go to MF65, enter the Reservation No.

Select all lines using button, depending upon Stock Availability in the Storage Location, & one

defined in EP Location (Set in Stock Determining Group), remaining Stock will remain open. Upon availability of Stock, same reservation no. will be used for transfer posting of items.

7.Goto Co11n and do the production order confirmations

'Posting date' will be date on which Confirmation will be posted

'Reason for Var.',the reason for deviation of Confirmed Quantity to Planned Quantity.Plant wise reason codes are provided as F4 values.

Shift, Down time, Actual time taken & Actual Work Centre can be set.

Once the confirmation of all operations are done, next step of Goods Receipt needs to be done.

8.Goto MB31 and do the Goods Receipt movement type : 101 attach Eng.Sl.No & save

Enter Order, Plant & Storage Location, Click Adopt / Adopt + Details, following screen will be displayed.

Click 'Enter', depending upon Quality Setup, Click Enter twice, following screen is displayed.

Select the Serial number, by clicking in the box next to the Serial number

After selecting the Serial numbers, needs to be clicked.

Above screen will be displayed. Once the screen is displayed, click , in order to post records.

In production order header screen, quantity confirmed will appear as 'DLV'

9.Now the Engine will convert from old Model to New MODEL with Same Sl. No.

10.Engine route card to be printed again with the converted Model
