Administration / Managing of Infocube• The Manage function allowsyou to display the contents ofthe fact table or the content withselected characteristics values.•

The status (red! yellow! or green light) of data load is displayed.• +ach re uest has its own uni ue re uest number (re uest ID).• "ystem uses the re uest ID (uni ue $ey generated by the system itself) to $eepchronological history of all the updates that have ta$en place.• %e uest IDs use to identify the specifics where the error occurred

• 'illing the aggregates with delta loads is called as rollup

• 6ere we have an option 0ompress after rollup! if you chec$ this chec$ boxafter completing the rollup! compression will be started

• 0ompression is moving the data from ' fact table to + fact table by losingits re uest numbers.

• If you want to avoid the Info 0ube containing entries whose $ey figuresare 7ero values (in reverse posting for example) you can run a 7ero8

elimination at the same time as the compression. In this case! the entrieswhere all $ey figures are e ual to 9 are deleted from the fact table.

• Data records with identical dimension $eys are aggregated.

• 0ompression conserves memory space and improves systemperformance when the data is being read.

3ote, "A recommends that you compress the Info0ube as soon as you $now that there uest has been loaded correctly and that it will not need to be deleted from the infocubeagain.

• Technically! compressing an Infocube sets all8or 5ust the older loadre uest IDs to initial.
