Locked or Disabled Accounts If your account in the “McKesson Specialty Health Reporting” portal has become locked or disabled, this guide will help to step you

through the process of re-activating it.

Your account may be locked or disabled (message shown below) either for too many failed logon attempts or it has been disabled for

being inactive/unused for over 90 days. You can perform a self-service reset your account from the logon screen.

Resetting Your Account To reset/unlock your account and request a new temporary password for your account, perform the following:

• Navigate to: https://specialtyhealthreporting.mckesson.com.

• Click the “Account Reset” button.

• You will be prompted to enter your username. o Enter your user name sent to you from your McKesson Account Manager. It should typically begin with your

company identifier followed by your first initial and last name (xyz_jdoe).

o Click the “Submit” button

• An information message will be displayed indicating that your new password has been created and has been sent to the email address listed on your account.

• You will receive an email with your new temporary password. Please make sure that your email is configured to accept email messages from “McKesson.com”. If you do not receive your temporary password via email within 10 minutes, you may want to check your “Junk Mail” folder to see if it was flagged as junk mail.

• From the email click the link or navigate to: https://specialtyhealthreporting.mckesson.com, and you will be taken to the Reporting Portal Logon Screen.

Logon to the Portal • Enter your “User Name” and the temporary password that was sent to you in the email.

• Click the “Log On” button.

You will be required to change your password the first time you log on after resetting your account.

Note: Please remember your password since your account will be locked you out after 3 invalid attempts. Check the “Caps Lock”!

Required Changing of Your Temporary Password After your account has been reset, and you have logged in with your temporary password, you will be presented with a screen

prompting you to change your password.

Please enter the following:

• Old Password – This is the temporary password emailed to you by the McKesson Specialty Reporting Portal

(not your old password previous to resetting the account).

• New Password – A new secure password that is known only to you and meets the “Password Rules” shown

below.

• Confirm New Password – Re-type the new password exactly as you entered it in the “New Password” field to

confirm your new password.

Note:

You must choose a password that is different from your three most recent passwords.

• Once complete, click the “OK” button on the screen.

Password Rules When selecting a new password the following requirements must be met:

• Must be “Mixed Case” (must contain at least one upper and one lower case characters).

• Must contain a minimum of 8 characters.

• Ideally should also include at least on numeric character.

Example of a compliant password: “S3cretPass”

Example of a non-compliant password: “mypass”

Things to Remember Please remember the following security measures that are in effect with regard to your McKesson

Report Portal account and password:

• You must change your password every 90 days

• You cannot reuse the most recent 3 passwords

• Your McKesson Report Portal account will be disabled after 3 failed login attempts. Should you lock your

account or forget your password, you may reset your account at any time from the logon screen by clicking the

“Account Reset” button on the logon page.
