The #1 Mistake Business Owners MakeslingshOT TO success

by Andy Van Valer

Attention Small Business Owners, Entrepre-neurs, Home Business Owners, Customer

Service and Sales Professionals: Follow up, fol-low up, follow up!

Many businesses I have worked with missed out on more sales, more customers and word-of-mouth advertising because they didn’t have an effective way to follow up and stay connected.

I will share a powerful tool you can start using today that will help you attract all the business you could ever want, and improve your personal relationships, too!

Are you looking for an easy way to:1. Give you the relationship edge in business

by building strong customer relationships and loyalty.

2. Build positive relationships with your cus-tomer so they tell others about your prod-ucts or services.

3. Create loyal repeat clients.4. Generate 30-45% more sales over the next

12 months by staying in touch.5. Generate endless referrals from your cur-

rent customers with zero advertising dollars and 80% better results!

6. Avoid ever chasing a cold lead again.7. Thank others for gifts and good deeds.8. Motivate and encourage employees.9. Remember birthdays

and anniversaries of cli-ents, employees, or even personal contacts.

Some people call this “ap-preciation marketing.” I call it “relationship-building.” When people feel appreci-ated, they will remember you for a long time, if not forever! Think of how you respond to someone who makes you feel appreciated and valued. What would it be worth to you and your business if you were to make each of your customers and prospects feel the same way?

How hard is it? Send a hand written card! There’s just something about someone actually taking the time to personally write and mail something that carries more weight that an email or text would. For that reason, there’s been more

of an emphasis on the gesture. Remember:• 90% of all businesses fail to follow up.

When they do, the average business grows by 23%.

• 80% of all sales occur on the 5th or subsequent in-teraction – what if you ended at the first?

• 62% of the reasons cus-tomers fail to continue business with you is per-ceived indifference. Sim-ply saying thank you to your customer will in-crease your business by 17%. I have many other concepts but this one is one of the easiest to im-plement! n

Andy Van Valer, CEO Slingshot, is an organiza-tion that helps entrepreneurs get the support, re-sources and advice they’ll need to make their busi-ness idea a reality or to scale to the next level. For more information visit www.slingshotsv.com
