AVALON SCENIC TOUR (50 minutes)

Rediscover the enchantment of Avalon as you journey along the beachfront, up the hillsides, and through the heart of this friendly and historic town. As you take in the picture-perfect views and colorful local attractions, your guide shares Catalina Island history and folklore from the comfort of our passenger vehicle.

CAPE CANYON EXPEDITION (4 hours, 15 minutes)

Experience Catalina Island’s rugged “outback” in our new all-terrain, 12-passenger eco-friendly H1 Hummer on this exciting off-road adventure tour. Converted to run on biofuel refined from recycled vegetable oil collected from local restaurants, this Hummer is “green.” This is the only scheduled off-road tour that travels into beautiful Cape Canyon and the steep, rugged Sheep Chute where Catalina’s bison can frequently be seen.

DISCOVER THE CASINO TOUR (40 minutes)

The Catalina Casino epitomizes everything glamorous about Catalina Island. 2016 Events

HERMIT GULCHHermit Gulch offers a nice view of the surrounding hills that are home to a wide variety of plant and animal life. The Hermit Gulch Trail is available from the campground, and there is access to other hiking trails nearby. Hermit Gulch is great for first-time and experienced campers alike. Being so close to town allows access to groceries, shopping, restaurants, tours, sightseeing, and nightlife.

CAMPING CABINS (Two Harbors)

Located in Two Harbors village, these small cabins accommodate two people, and have a refrigerator and heater. Nearby are showers, restrooms and a cooking area shared by occupants of other cabins.

LITTLE HARBOR (Two Harbors)

This beautiful campground is accessible by hiking, biking, or Safari Shuttle Bus from Two Harbors or Avalon. Ranger has firewood, charcoal, and propane for purchase. Sites have picnic tables, fire ring, BBQ, chemical toilets, rinse-off showers, fresh water, and most have sunshade.

PARSON’S LANDING / BLACK JACK (Two Harbors)

Located seven miles from Isthmus Cove, you will find beautiful vistas and long stretches of pristine beaches. The facility provides 11 campsites.

TWO HARBORS CAMPGROUNDLocated on a bluff overlooking the Catalina Channel, these campsites are only a quarter mile uphill walk from the Isthmus Pier and the village of Two Harbors. All sites have picnic table, fire pit, BBQ, and sunshades. Tent cabins and equipment rentals are also available.

BRISA DEL MAR (Two Harbors)

Located on the beach in the Two Harbors Campground, this deluxe site puts your group in the ideal spot for fishing, kayaking, and snorkeling. This campsite can accommodate a maximum of 25 people and includes a large A-Frame shade structure, charcoal grills, and toilets.

BAHIA AZUL (Two Harbors)

Bahia Azul is a secluded group camping site that can accommodate a maximum of 25 people. This unique site offers you and your group amazing views of the Pacific Ocean, a semi-private beach, and all the amenities to make your campout unforgettable. THE PERFECT PLACE TO MEETWith easy access via high-speed ferry or helicopter, Catalina Island is the ideal location for your next corporate meeting, retreat, reunion, or social gathering. For 15 to 1,500 guests, or anywhere in between, we can deliver an exceptional experience, combining brand new facilities, historic island charm and breathtaking views. Avalon venues include:

Catherine’s Terrace at Descanso Beach is a state-of-the-art oceanfront facility with a professional fully-staffed catering kitchen that can accommodate meetings or events with up to 250 people.

Descanso Beach Club features a private outdoor lawn for 450 people seated and 1,200 standing. Twenty cabanas on the beach suggest another option. When reserved for private events, the entire site can host beach parties for up to 2,500 attendees.

Catalina Casino boasts a Ballroom that can entertain up to 600 seated guests under a 50-foot ceiling with an elevated stage, raised seating areas around a wooden dance floor, vintage full-service bar, and 360-degree veranda. Downstairs, the Avalon Theatre provides a 1,184-seat theater with vintage murals, 43-foot ceilings, legendary acoustics, and a new Dolby surround sound system.

Catalina Country Club was originally built for William Wrigley’s baseball team, the Chicago Cubs. After a lavish renovation, the club’s eclectic mix of Spanish Colonial design and sports memorabilia exists in elegant ambiance and is the perfect venue for any occasion. Both casual and formal seating areas are capable of accommodating 15–120 guests, individual rooms, or the entire venue can be reserved for your meeting or event.

Several off-site locations including The Inn on Mt. Ada (former Wrigley Mansion), Pavilion Hotel, and elegant Island Spa Catalina can also accommodate receptions and special events.

Beyond Avalon, we also offer catering services in Two Harbors at the Banning House Lodge, our guest cottages Casa Santa Rosa and Casa Santa Cruz, and our scenic beachfront picnic areas.
