” ”“The entryway is

what welcomes your guests to your home and sets the mood. I love designing an entryway where guests can come in and automatically feel at home (with a little oohing and awing as well.)

What is your favorite part about designing an entryway? “

What is your favorite part about designing a kitchen?

” ”“Desinging kitchens are easy if you keep function in mind. I love accessorizing and styling a kitchen with every day practical pieces, like cutting boards, canisters, etc. Open shelving is a beautiful way to make a statement and keep things functional.

What is one of your ways of incorporating glass in your projects?

”“We use glass objects a

lot when styling shelves. Especially on those top, hard to reach shelves, glass draws the eye up, but keeps those high up spaces open and airy. It’s the perfect subtle touch.

How did you decide you wanted to become an interior designer?

I worked as an art director as an ad agency for years, but building my rst custom home brought back my earliest passion: interior design.I realized that if I could produce a brand for corporations, then I could certainly design the interiors that housed them. My success there led me to the idea that I needed a design laboratory where rooms would not just be imagined, but could come to life. This would be a place to experiment with stylish and top quality furniture, create timeless settings, and to inspire others. Our rst store front was born and I haven't looked back since! “ ”

What excites you most about interior design?

” ”“I love experimenting with

different designs. I pride myself in not being a “me too” design rm, but really expanding our design styles and providing custom designs for each of our clients.
