WELCOME TO BEMIDJI!

The Sanford Center is owned by the City of Bemidji and managed by Venuworks . Venuworks provides venue management, ticketing and fan engagement .

The Sanford Center broke ground in April of 2009 and officially opened its doors in October 2010. Our building is home of the Bemidji State University Beavers Men’s & Women’s Division Hockey teams . In addition to the arena, The Sanford Center includes the George W . Neilson Convention Center .

We are the largest event center in the northern Minnesota region and have hosted legendary per-formers including Brad Paisley, Disney Live, Luke Bryan, and Alice Cooper, just to name a few .

In addition, the arena is connected to the Country Inn and Suites as well as their resturant . The Sanford Center is known for its incredible entertainment and a facility that welcomes all ages .

Bemidji Minnesota, where the mighty Mississippi River meets its first city, is a regional center for shopping, arts, entertainment, education, health services, worship, and government services . Located in the north-central region of Minnesota, Bemidji is easily accessible from major ur-ban centers (Duluth, MN, Grand Forks, ND, & Fargo, ND) within a 2 .5hr driving time . With a city population of 14,301, it is the largest commercial center between Grand Forks, North Dakota and Duluth, Minnesota .

The Bemidji Area includes parts or all of Beltrami County, Hubbard County, Cass County, and more putting the Bemidji Area population at 131,553 with-in a 60-mile radius . In addi-tion, Bemidji is home to Bemidji State University, Northwest Technical College, Oak Hills Christian College, with over 5,000 additional students living in town during the school year .

Known as the birth-place/home of logging legend “Paul Bunyan”, Bemidji is noted as the “curling capital” of the United States and home to a world-class fishing tourism industry with over 400 lakes in a 25-mile radius, making it a year-round destination for fishing.

MINNESOTA FUN FACT:Though Minnesota is called ‘The Land of 10,000 Lakes’, it actually has 11,842 lakes that are at least 10 acres or more in area and 21,871 lakes that are at least 2.5 acres or more in area. It also has 6,564 natural rivers and streams that flow 69,200 miles in the state. TICKETINGThe Sanford Center uses Ticketmaster for all ticketed events .

Box Office• The Sanford Center Box Office is open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Saturday and

Sunday during special arena event days. On these days the Box Office opens at 11am .

ATMThe automated teller machine is located on the Main Concourse by sections K-J & S-T .

CAMERAS and RECORDING DEVICESInformation regarding the camera policy is determined by show personnel and will vary from event to event . However, for most events, small digital cameras are permissible . Cameras with a professional lens will not be permitted (any type of detachable lens is considered pro-fessional .)

DISABLED GUESTSThe Sanford Center is ADA compliant for accessibility including restrooms, parking, drop off lanes, and service counters . Accessible seating is located throughout the arena . Accessible seating may be purchased by calling the Box Office directly at 218-441-4032.

FAN CONDUCTThe Sanford Center is committed to exceeding the expectations of every guest by delivering the best sports and entertainment experience with quality guest service and exceptional value at a world-class venue .

FIRST AID ROOMThe first aid room is located on the Main Concourse by section R. Trained medical personnel are on staff for every event at the Sanford Center . First aid boxes are located throughout the facility .

LOST and FOUNDAll items that may have been left behind during an event are recorded and kept in the San-ford Center Administration Office. Items can be claimed during regular office hours, Mon-day through Friday, 9:00 am-5:00pm . 218-441-4000

RE-ENTRY POLICYThe Sanford Center has a NO Re-Entry Policy . Once you leave the facility during an event, you may not return under any circumstances . Exceptions are only made in case of emergen-cies. If a patron would like to reenter, they may purchase another tickeet at the Box Office.

SECURITYAll patrons, guests, talent and staff are subject to walking through metal detectors upon enter-ing the building . All patrons are subject to be wanded and have thir bags searched .

SMOKING POLICYThe Sanford Center is a SMOKE-FREE Facility .

OUTSIDE FOOD and BEVERAGESAbsolutely no outside food and beverages are to be allowed inside the Sanford Center .

All prospective tenants must contact Tiffany Vickaryous Hubbard, Executive Di-rector at tvickaryous@venuworks .com or 218-441-4008 to check availability . The Sanford Center will tentatively reserve requested dates after acceptance by the Sanford Center. A date is not considered firm until a contract is signed and re-ceived .

The Sanford Center may deny the use of any or all of the facility to any individu-al, group, organization or event that after professional review determines one of the aforementioned would result in an unfair degree of competition or is not in the best interest of the City of Bemidji or the Sanford Events Center .

If another tenant should request a date(s) tentatively reserved or a portion there-of, the tenant will be required to execute a contractual agreement with 24 hours of notification or within a time as specified by the Management of the Sanford Center . If the completed contract is not received, the Management will release the dates with notice .
