To address an increasing talent gap due in part to a declining appraiser population, CoreLogic Valuations has created a Staff Appraiser Trainee Program

Program Overview

Complete, end-to-end trainee program for new residential appraisers

Provides multiple trainee opportunities throughout the country, focused on markets with the greatest need

Targets early-career college graduates and military veterans

First class started August 1st; a second class is planned for 2019

CoreLogic has created a program that balances field-based training with classroom style in-house qualifying education

The Columbia Institute has developed the education material to deliver all required (AQB) and enhanced training

The training includes components of advanced skill building such as service principles, efficiency tools, data and analytics

The trainees will complete 150 hours of AQB education and receive 6 weeks of intensive training in Dallas prior to being placed with their designated supervisors

Upon completion of the training in Dallas, the trainees will return to their home markets and work side-by-side with a Staff Appraiser Supervisor while they gain the experience hours needed for licensure

We are currently 7 weeks into the program
