I can respond to ArtOur Art journey, will now take us from the Netherlands over to Spain. In Spain we will be visiting
Barcelona. Can you find Barcelona on a map? Do you know any facts about Barcelona?
The artist we will focus on for the next few lessons is Gaudi. Gaudi’s influence is apparent throughout the city of Barcelona. Take a look at some of his artwork across the city.
Casa Mila
Parc Guell La Sagrada Familia
Casa Batllo Gaudi’s Lizard
Look at each of these images and respond to the art.
What do you think Gaudi was thinking of when he designed these buildings?
What would this building say if it could talk?
If you could visit this building, what would you feel?
