Every team will be oered a space every edition of the Newsletter to submit something funny... write about their game... whatever... and since we’re doing a newsletter every Tuesday of every week, you have plenty of time to come up with something! If your team doesn’t submit anything, and isn’t in the newsletter, talk to your captain!

Ideas for Team Submissions When I say, submit something for your team, here are some ideas: • Play by plays of the game • Document the debauchery at the bar - i.e. describing someone’s amazing acting skills hobbling across the bar with a “sprained ankle” just to Ice a teammate. ] • Draw pictures!!!!! • Favorite quotes, poems, song lyrics, movie scripts, YouTube video, or motivational speeches! • Email chains from the morning after . • Funny pictures of you, your team, or something random on the internet • Give your team member awards - drunkest, loudest, person with the least shame, best o the face catch, etc.! • Anything. Really. Someone on your team is creative.

Submissions are due EVERY Monday by 7 p.m.

TEAM WRITE-UPS

Wiff It Good Wiff It Good continues to shock teams with its amazing talent and awesomeness. If games were won by how much trash you talk, Shits and Wiffles would have crushed us. That girl Jessica on the other team, playing catcher, would not stop talking bad mouthing our team, but since we have regular trash-talkers in our team like Terrence and Antonio, our team never flinched. Katy did a good job at keeping the team rowdy and out of control, as usual, which is why she is the coach and leader of all mayhem. The actual wiffleball game lasted, for what seemed like, 20 minutes and left us all wanting more. Final score was a solid 3-2 win for our team, which is closer than we'd like, but we'll take it!

Sh*ts and WifflesWe did it again!!! Lost by one RUN… (JAMES, itʼs called a ʻRUNʼ not aʻpointʼ) we actually played Defense this week! Proud of our guys/gals,we just couldnʼt get the wind to cooperate with us… Glad Jeff Whitehurst came to play he led us with 2 hits, I think we only mustered up 6 hits all day and scored 2 runs on them, pretty efficientfor baseball, not so much for wiffleball. Honestly, after changing our defense slightly, and having a majority of our team back this week, I think we may be just about to figure this game out.Good thing we have two games this week, just in case. Congrats to ʻWiff It Goodʼ to squeak out a “W” they wonʼt be so lucky next time.

TEAM WRITE-UPS

Victorious Secret - (a lot 15ish) vs. Notorious Wiff (2ish) So it was a battle of who would end up sleeping on the couch that night since we were playing James' (my boyfriend's) team and well let's just say I wasn't the one on the couch!!! That makes his record 0-2 vs my team. Although shorthanded with only 7 players, one being Brett who was just getting over something and Jeff who has a messed-knee, we still pulled it off. Nikki held down first base and the Brett, Joe and Cary covered the left side of the field where most of the balls were going. Our only weak link at the plate this game well and our second game was EG (she knows who she is) but all in all we were pretty solid. Victorious Secret - (13ish) vs. Wiffleholics Anonymous (6ish) This was a great match-up and VS was really getting worked during the last inning. The Wiffle-holics were coming back but we finally secured our last out. For a minute we looked like the Bad News Bears out there but we were able to pull it together. The highlight would have had to be Kate and me running into each other and laughing so hard about it that we forgot to throw the ball in (come to think of it, that was either this game or the first one). Shout out to Jeff for cranking a homerun today! Great game to both teams!!!

Smack My Beach UpI would have to say that the theme this Sunday was….WINNING! Iʼm owing it to the fact that my entire team finally showed up! Yay! Smack My Beach Up v. Wiffleholics Anonymous….shew…what a close game! We almost gave this team their first win. We were leading by four the majority of the game, then Wiffleholics came back the top of the fifth and scored four runs. Luckily for us, we held them at the top of the 6th and then managed to score another two runs. What a great group to play though. I can see improving over the season, and if they decide to play another, they will be a force to be reckoned with! Smack My Beach Up v. No Pants? No Problem! First of all, kudos to Heidi for stepping in for Tom as captain for the second week in a row! Despite a minor “incident” between two players from each team, I would say it was an overall fun game! MVP of the game would have to go to Kimberly….she was all over the sand…diving, ducking, kneeling, crawling….but man, she made to get in some awesome plays! Ps…and damn that sand…it seems to trip so many of my players ;)

Nanerpus & the Fish Stix

Man, Multiple Scoregasms really scoredon our Nannerpus... In our defenseDunkleberry Finn (Huck) had butter-ngers, so watch out next week - We’llall be ready to bring it! Beware of 3rdbase - Our guy is going to CRUSH IT.

NOTORIOUS

WIFFNotorious WIFFDidnʼt send in a writeup this week... sorry guys - hope you atleast had fun!!!

Great Pic You Two!!!

Sandy Balls

Multiple ScoregasmsSo after two straight losses, this week we totally redeemed ourselves! We definitely brought it, started out strong and just keep bringing it, even though we had constant “heckling” from someone in the crowd, which made the win that much sweeter LOL . We had some great plays and everyone was hitting the ball! Mark dove for second base, or should I say “body slammed” second base. And of course, the team captain learned that you really should run INSIDE the baseline. Ok Maggie, stop playing tag, this is wiffle ball!!! We had a great time playing Nanerpuss & the Fish Sticks and look forward to another great win next week!

So apparently batting cages do work. After practicing all week Mike and David really knew how to get those balls flying over the field. You could tell that Make It Rain were no rookies at wiffle ball right away. After losing 3 to 1 and making a couple of minor mistakes during the first 4 innings, we decided to get serious and tied in the 5th inning. It was still a tie at the end of the game, when ref gave us a green light to one more inning. The chemistry between Eddie and Doug on defense was giving me chills. And our new super star David brought Sandy Balls a win to the most intense game of the season yet!

No Pants No Problem

For the first week ever we had a full team that was mostly sober. Those of you that know our team, know that this can be a rarity. Missing our illustrious leader, Tom, we've had to take the team into our own hands and see what we could make of it. We made some line up and fielding positions and went out there to see what we could do without our leader. Though we lost the game, we started figuring out how to mesh as a team on the field. Our mostly rookie team hung in there against Stella's seasoned team and at least made them sweat a little. With some covert discussions after the game, we've moved some things around, and are ready to bring our "A" game next week :)
