About the Scholarship
The San Lorenzo Ruiz Scholarship Program is given to students who are in need of financial assistance and who are willing to render assistance for
twenty (20) to thirty (30) hours per week in the University. The scholarship is renewable every term of the academic year.
General Qualifications
Procedure for Application
Benefits
Must be a Filipino citizen;
Must pass the UST Entrance Test (USTET);
Must have an average grade of at least 85% (for Freshmen);
Must have an average grade of not less than 2.50 with no more than one (1) grade of 3.0 from the previous term, and no failing grades incurred
from the previous terms (for Higher years);
Must be physically fit and willing to render service to the University;
Must belong to a family whose gross annual income does not exceed PhP 400,000.00

Submission of Requirements
Inquire from the Office of the Dean of your respective Faculty/College/Institute regarding the scholarship application form
and the schedule of the submission of documents;
Ensure that all requirements are in a long brown envelope (Read the Instruction & Procedure in the Application Form)
Scholarship Application Requirements
The student must submit the complete requirements to the respective Office of the Dean:
San Lorenzo Ruiz Scholarship Application Form (Form may be secured from the Office of the Dean);
2 copies of 2”X2” colored ID Picture;
Photocopy/Print-out of the UST Entrance Test (USTET) result;
Photocopy of the UST Registration Form;
Photocopy of Grades: - Form 138 or 137 (for Freshmen)
- Temporary Transcript of Records (for Higher Years)
Certificate of Good Moral Character (Original and with School’s DRY SEAL)
Photocopy of the Baptismal Certificate;
Photocopy of the Birth Certificate;
Parent’s Proof of Income (Please refer to the requirements in the application form);
- Photocopy of latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of both parents, or
- Certification of Non-filing from BIR with Affidavit indicating the estimated source of annual income, or
- Photocopy of Income/Pay Slip/Contract (OFW)
Barangay Clearance (with residence map at the back page);
Recommendation Letter from the Parish Priest;
Parental Consent.
100% defrayal of Total Fees
Monthly stipend, based on the number of rendered hours
NOTE: P.E. Uniform, Retreat, Review, Alumni, Graduation, and Out-of-State Fees are not included in the computation for scholarship discount
For the renewal of the scholarship, the scholar must maintain an average grade of 2.50 with no more than one (1) grade of 3.0 in any subject/course and no failing grades in both academic and non-academic courses.
