MADUREIRA
At first, Park Madureira I was demanded and ended up beign built on 2012 with an extension of 1.350 meters. In the same year, as this park was changing peoples lifes on the north zone of the city, Rio de Janeiro ordered the extension of this park. Soon, the park will be even higher thanks to the 3000 meters of expansion works that will take this park to Brazil Avenue , passing through out eight districts.
In a area with more than 97% of anthropic occupation and less than 1 m2 of green area for one inhabitant, the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro demanded, for the past 20 years, for more green public areas.

The highlight of this project, is clearly the facade. As the news paper comes to its readers, each day, with new stories, the facade moves according to the sunlight giving the building a new face everyday. The interior of the building, reflects the speed of the news - renewed almost every second - achieved by a central atrium that integrates all enterprise environments. As the Olympic Games come to the city of Rio de Janeiro, everything needs to be done and rebuilt in the city and so is this company - Gas Feno-sa. Distributing gas for the city is hard working and the current place of it, is in really bad conditions, so the client asked us to rebuilt it, in order to create more quality space for its workers, as well as more quality gas for its population. The project responded with some green areas for its exterior and another lit wided spaces for the workers, inside.

As the World Cup and the Olympic Games were going to be held in Brasil, all of the Airports and consequently their stores, had to be done from scratch or renovated . Dufry was one of those stores.
Every shop looked very 90s and the project had to change it . Everything was redone and rethoutgh from scratch, since the co-lour of its ceiling to their furnishings .
The main objective, refresh the image of Dufry Stores with new light materials and new design furnisings to make this con-fusing stores become more flashy though discreet.

DUFRY STORES
The building was closed to the outside and facing the interior, as was already said, de-spite the bumpy panels used to create some game lightening in its interiors. With the panels, we could have a difuse light inside the library creating a peacefull and quiet space, the ideal ambience for concentration and study.
