- Rebuttal: Animals are essential for medical researches (Hobson-West)

Treatment for severe human and animal diseases (“Development”)

  Best results

Similar to humans (unlike other non-human sources)

(Blakemore)

D) BODY 3

- Opposing argument: use humans for human research (Walker)

- Rebuttal: Humans cannot be used as efficiently as animals

 Animals are faster

  Shorter lives

  Faster results

  Breed faster

 Humans are not efficient enough

  Limited volunteers

  More expensive

  Cannot be controlled

(Blakemore)

E) CONCLUSION

- A lot of diseases require treatment.

- The advantages more than drawbacks.

- Useful researches for both animals and humans
