We are pleased to inform you that the Employees’ Compensation Commission (ECC) in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment - Laoag City Field Office will be conducting a one-day seminar on the Employees’ Compensation Program (ECP). Created in 1975 by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 626, the ECC is a government agency attached to the Department of Labor and Employment that aims to champion the welfare of our Filipino workers by providing them a comprehensive of benefits in the event of a work-connected sickness, injury or death. The ECC administers the ECP through the Social Security System (SSS) for private sector workers and the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) for public sector workers. The ECC fund is comprised of employers’ contributions that are remitted monthly to the SSS and the GSIS. In order to enhance the advocacy of our programs and services, may we request your assistance by inviting the members of your organization to participate in a seminar to be conducted at the Plaza Del Norte Hotel and Convention Center in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte on October 28, 2015 from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Each establishment shall be represented by one representative preferably a personnel handling human resource administration. The seminar is given free of charge. To enable us to make the necessary arrangements, we would appreciate receiving the confirmations of your members who will be attending this activity through our Regional Advocacy
