Our block is holding its annual block party on _____ (date)! This is a wonderful opportunity for our neighbors, friends, and families to get together and celebrate _____ (season) and the wonderful neighborhood we live in.

As a valued area business, we’d like to ask you to donate a gift certificate or item to be used for either our bingo games or for our raffle. We know that the current economic climate has been tough on everyone and particularly area businesses. We would greatly appreciate anything you could donate to make this day special for your neighborhood residents.

In recognition of your generosity, we will have a sign acknowledging your participation and copies will be distributed to everyone. We encourage our neighbors to spend their hard-earned dollars locally and to support area independently owned establishments. If you have any promotional literature you would like us to distribute, we’d be happy to hand it out.
